Hey Ed!!. If I have the recording set for 24 bit and then at mixdown I have it set for 16 bit, would that funk up the clip? I think Im going to set everything at 16bit all the way through.
Unless your program fuck up the dithering-which I doubt no. That said leave it at 24 since that will give you a little more head room for summing and efx. At 16 you're oing to run into more headaches than what you have now.

You know, Come to think of it, all of my clips sound hollow. I wonder I need a new Mic cable because that's the only thing that I haven,t replaced and the only thing that I have used over the years that is the same!!

That's the bain of miking overdriven guitar. And that's where the ability to move the mic around is mondo important.
