I guess the rumors are true. Doubt I will go. Going out with Joe Satriani, Michael Anthony and Jason Bonham.

He is saying the music will span his entire career including Montross and Solo Red Rocker in addition to Van Halen, Chickenfoot and other projects. I also read that they plan to do Running with the Devil and Panama - which seems odd to me. What you think?


Edit 1: I just read that Sammy invited DLR and Alex to join any of the shows at any time. Of course they declined.

Nah--that looks like a true tribute. Zakk W is not hurting for $ or opportunities to make $ from what I can tell. This is Sammy rockin out and makin some dough with a band of cool guys.

I think Eddie is the GOAT but the VH brothers do/did not seem like good dudes. Sammy should be free to play songs he wrote with people he enjoys playing with.

Yeah, he's free to do anything from 5150 on....Balance was the last one with him? But I agree, he should stay away from Roth era stuff. He didn't write any of it.
Be cool to see him though...with the rest of the band of course.

Drummer Alex Van Halen and Singer Sammy Hagar have not been on speaking terms for years now. Does this situation sound familiar? It should!

I bet if he did some Cherone era VH III album material he wouldn't get sued though, lol.
 
I’ve seen The Circle the last few years, great show every time.

I think one of the shows MA sang lead on Ain’t talking about Love.
 
im sure they will feel eddy channeling energy to them which they will no doubt channel back to the crowd
