I tried my 0.3 metal pick yesterday, too schratchy to my taste still, even by the feel of it. Maybe I do something wrong lolAs for myself, I love stainless steel or brass picks .... smoother for staccato picking .
Nah, it just wasn't right for you .I tried my 0.3 metal pick yesterday, too schratchy to my taste still, even by the feel of it. Maybe I do something wrong lol
A bit underwhelming. Looks like i only have 500. I thought i had more, lol. Maybe i have another stash. I didn't even see my redbear...Take picture of yor collection one day, I got curious

Wow, nice collection you have there! Have you tried Tortex TIII? Concept seems interesting to me. Wish I could try ‘em. But then again, standart Tortex works fine too.A bit underwhelming. I use the shoulder. Like Joe Walsh and many others. What? You play them backwards?
Unfortunately, the tIII doesn't look sharp. I need pointy picks for my pointy guitar.Wow, nice collection you have there! Have you tried Tortex TIII? Concept seems interesting to me. Wish I could try ‘em. But then again, standart Tortex works fine too.
I wish mine was as beggarly lolSince I have such a beggarly collection, i just purchased the howling monkey fat jazz
TIII is basically as sharp as Jazz III as far as I understand. At least the conscept of that pick is standart tortex + Jazz III tip.Unfortunately, the tIII doesn't look sharp. I need pointy picks for my pointy guitar.
Wow, I am a metalhead, we think straightforward, you know lolI use the shoulder. Like Joe Walsh and many others. View attachment 193612
Why haven’t you tagged me so I see this in time?Got the howling monkey fat jazz. At first I thought it was plastic. Then i read the envelope they sent me. Aparently, it is a tree nut. I like the size of it. It is about the size of a small attack pick, yet instead of the concave i don't like, it is fatter and feels comfortable. I will play with it a little tonight and over the next week and decide if it is worthy. But first impressions, I like it a lot.
Dime Didn't use the Sharp ones though. I currently use the .88mm Standard Shaped ones & they seem to working for what i do.These are the best guitar picks. Good enough for dimebag, good enough for you.
