3) I file a damage claim for the 1st damaged H75. It gets denied due to insufficient packing. Yeah, I showed them the replacement tracking #, and the other shipments that all got there in one piece, they didn't budge. I was going to fight it out with them on principle but got tossed in the hospital for 10 days in January and my window to refile was over.

Moral of the story, sometimes shit happens in shipping you can't explain...or prove.

The amp seller says he offered to do a damage claim. Fine. Buyer sends him pics of the box, inner box, damaged goods/PCB board, etc to file with the claim, then they wait 2-3 weeks for an answer, assuming they have a repair estimate. I did all that for my client, he sent me pics. I still lost out. He got a replacement speaker, client is happy and ordered more speakers.

In a single transaction deal for $2000, though, it had better be insured, packed for a catapult launch, and the seller better do the paperwork.

With that said, if the buyer is a dick, doesn't get an estimate, or pics, the seller can't file the claim.

There's my 11 years of Fedex damage claim experience in a nutshell. uberdood and jc need to communicate without threats, posted addresses and frigging common sense. Grow the fuck up, or take it off the forum and meet on the golf course already.

No wonder I don't frequent this forum much anymore. I've got enough business/health drama in my life to read up on this type of unreasonable posting crap.

Apples and oranges buddy. You've proven nothing except trying to make excuses for yourself. You obviously didn't read the facts of the repair. You might win a few customers selectively supporting generalizations and speculations in the mob rule. Congratulations on that. Maybe next time you make a mistake packing something you can stick it to UPS and spare yourself the expense of being accountable for what you do. Whatever opinion of him, Ubermetalguy has a legitimate gripe and his facts support what he says. I don't care about speculation or your silly overgeneralzing your experience shipping speakers because what I care aboutnis someone getting a fair shake. JC986 knowingly shipped Ubermetaldude a bad amp and if you can't see that then you lack discernment between truth and lies.

People posting here come with preconceived ideas without even reading the transcripts. Ubermetaldude said in his correspondence that he would provide pics and info for the shipping claim but that he wanted nothing else to do with it because he felt it's dishonest. You are jumping to all these conclusions in complete ignorance and that's not fair to the guy.

yeah he is banned ... the account is from january but i'm guessing he might have been in "trouble" then as well, because hefty posts in pretty much exactly the same way as uber

Yes, it's pretty clear. I find the funniest part is how he keeps spelling uber's name wrong 'ubermetalguy, ubermetaldude' to throw us off the scent, not once has he spelled it correctly. Not to mention, the very first thing he says is 'Uhhh......yeah, the only reason I'm here is cause...uhhh...I was researching a bad deal....cough.....ahem' :lol: :LOL: He certainly is a genius and a diabolical mind :thumbsup:

I have offered to file a FedEx claim to make sure any damages can be taken care of. In the event FedEx would deny the claim, I offered to personally assist with the cost of repair.

He traded you a Bogner Uberschall which works perfectly and you sent him a Lil Fokker that you claimed worked perfectly. Now you have a perfect Uberschall and he has a Lil Fokker in need of repair. Bottom line only, correct?

I see that you complained about him not giving you quote, etc..., but should he be the one doing all of that? Shouldn't you be doing all of that? It's odd that you claim the Lil Fokker was perfect yet seem to have no concern whatsoever in what Peter Diezel had to say. In the correspondence, Ubermetaldude seems to have kept you in the loop so what's to stop you from getting involved and finding out what the problem is?

I"m sorry to say but the way you responded to the guy and your lack of interest in working a solution shows your blatant guilt.

All you demonstrated so far is your willingness to bill FedEx the cost. Where on your part are YOU going to fit the expense?

Last question. Since the moderator banned that member, how are you going to make sure that he is taken care of or did you already abandon your reaponsibilities?

People who lie cannot hide it. What you say is one thing, but how the fact a add up, the way you react to certain things, and your lack of actual action proves your guilt.

So far you put blame on FedEx and him yet despite what you say, you refuse to give him his gear back, you didn't involve yourself in the repair process, and you apparently didn't send the guy any money to get an estimate, so you basically haven't done a single thing. How do you expect him to provide you a quote when it's not covered under warranty? Estimates cost money. Did you send him a shipping label to have the amp sent to a qualified tech? Did you pay for the estimate or bench fee? So tell me, while you are playing his perfect amp, how are you making sure that he has an equally functional amp?

The truth is that you haven't donebjack shit and put all the burden on your victim because you never planned to do shitnin the first place. Man you are a piece of work. People like you are the worst possible kind to deal with.

So this is ubermetalguy's alt, right?
 
This is pretty typical for Uber, some of his other rant's and attacks on members here have been worse than this even imho. Guys been doing it for long time. He went off on me big time about a year and half ago, was pretty funny but also so telling of the guys mental state at the same time.

Did the same thing to me recently. No threats but he did get pretty nasty.
