Why did it take 7 pages for the term BALTIMORON to get tossed out there. There it is, I said it.

exactly - I was gonna post that I'd never buy an map from a guy who:
a. sounds this moronic (Baltimoron to be more specific)
b. designs amps to look like Hot Wheels
c. runs his amp business out of a tattoo shop
d. has the name Blades in the name

on a side note, the clip of the guy ripping all the various guitars through it wasn't all that bad
Man, I haven't used a map in years. ;)

Get out. Is that really a tat he did?

That is a tat of Jose rising from the grave to seek vengeance on all those who've stolen...I mean borrowed his mods. Especially the ones who put cup holders and lightnin' bolts near his circuits.

I wonder does billy have "blades" tattooed across his chest or just a bigass "thunderbolt" ?

I think it would be fair to ask to see his current work :D

To be fair here is current stuff. Looks like he's doing them neater and safer.

They do look neater, I wonder if there's an advantage to the chassis being open ended like that...

Of course! The open ended chassis allows the liquid that spills from the cup holder above to more easily flow across the high voltage electronics.

He must only smoke Crack on weekends now ...

Wonder if he still "triple solders" for safety.

Other than being cheaper to manufacture ...no.

I think his amp sounds pretty good...
It's a clip...
It could be "post eq-ed" I have no idea...
charveldan keeps being the most annoying fanboy...
You like friedman amps...go and play...stop spamming...even friedman himself would be pissed if he was giving a crap...

Boards look neater because he is having them farmed out to someone competent. Can't see the wire soldering in that pic however.

So does that mean he is farming out the work of modding other people's existing amps as well - as shown in the youtube vids?

I can think of only negatives in having a chassis without structural integrity...

+1

It is easier to just make some folds in the sheet metal vs actually boxing off a chassis.

Yeah, those look much better. Would have to see a close up though. Maybe the one originally posted that looked like crap was a prototype that was meant to be something he fucked around with to find the values that worked.
