Is this Metro or RT ?

If you don't know where you are I don't see how anybody here could help by simply telling you.

Keep typing folks....have to run out and steer the house.
Damn near run it aground again.

That must have been an old thread, because to my ears the Blades Firebolt stomps the shit out of a Soldano SLO100 - no question about it!

And Rocky Road DESTROYS Chocolate Chip.

I have talked with Billy via cell phone, and he seems like a very cool person. He never talked shit about anyone, which I thought was very commendable. I've read some of the Metro posts, but I don't place any stock into that... I've met some big name players who I would describe as some of the biggest assholes I've ever met! Did I stop buying their music? Nope! I don't think Billy means anything by it... It's just his way.

As a recording artist who creates original music, I need to get my hands on the best tools possible to expand my art. If I were to base my conception of great tone on what an eccentric builder said on an internet forum, I'd be a lesser musician for it. I have not played using that much gain in a long time, but hearing the Blades Firebolt (in both pre and post production) has motivated me to reconsider. I would at least like to experiment with some multi-tracking... To my ears, Billy has built a great sounding amplifier. If the Blades Firebolt is good enough for legendary music producer Michael Wagener, than it's good enough for me.

Last I checked, when your CD doesn't work you don't have to call up the asshole musician who played guitar on it.
...or the scumbag who clones another man's amp. ;)

Exactly.
Did you post any pics of your "SLO100" home build?

In this thread? No.

Maybe you should ask Billy for pics of his. He joined the SLO Clone forum. Lost of great information that's openly shared there. But he was banned and his threads deleted after like 3 days. I wonder why...

I don't have any cold-cuts at the moment, but I do have a new soft-serve flavor in-stock...

Would you guys quit posting Charveldan's birth video?

Any links to your CD's/ albums? Would be interested in hearing them.

Here's what I don't understand...sometimes I get the Blizzard at DQ with Reece's cup. Why can't I get JUST the peanut butter filling? What is that shit made of? It's like crack. And I've tried buying the Reese's peanut butter, it's not the same.

12.5gr of sugar in one cup + high fructose corn syrup. There's your crack...

Try dipping Voortman's Coconut Cookies into some hot Nutella, then dip it into some Dream Whip...

I had one track posted here on RT last year, but I removed it. I sent samples to Steve Ouimette last year, and really liked them. He recommended that I do not post unprotected original music on the internet. I'm compiling music to send to Crucial next year - hopefully. I've gotten lazy, and I don't feel as inspired as I once did. Most say it sounds like Pink Floyd with a harder, more modern edge to it... My cousin says it sounds like Pink Floyd meets Tool. :dunno:

I've got originals that I wrote back in the mid 80's, but those are straight-up rock/metal. I used a ESP Mirage, into a Ibanez TS9, into a Rockman rack setup into a board for those... IMO, they still hold up well.

As long as I've been around the net, which goes back to usenet guitar groups (or FIDO... don't recall), I can't remember anybody whipping out the "I don't put my music up for people to hear because it might get stolen."

That's comedy gold dude... comedy gold!

Keep bringing it, you're rocking this thread.
