Is anyone buying amplifiers who isn't an aging forum dweller, dealing with mid-life crisis? Rock and metal music is dead and gone! The only groups I see touring, are those who made their name before the collapse of the rock and metal music genre. Nostalgia tours basically. Today's white teens are into hip-hop, crack and bitches... What would they need with a guitar amplifier?

Country Rock Pop, which is also called Americana is doing well. Those bands are touring, selling tickets, and music. The guitar players in that genre are buying high end/boutique gear.

I love Hard Rock and Metal, but I am also in a band that covers Martina McBride, Linda Ronstadt, Trisha Yearwood, Gritchen Wilson, Sugarland, etc

We are getting good pay gigs, and the music can be challenging to play. Those country/rock guys have good chops.

Well sometimes you have to get down to their IQ level.

TrueDick5cm said the "music" he makes is so ground breaking that its at a huge risk of being stolen if posted on the internet. He then went on to describe it as a cross between Pink Floyd and Tool. I think Pink Tool is the obvious choice for him to make name wise. I thought it was a good choice. Very fitting.
