who exactly is Rick Morosini and what has he done? is he an 80s guy from an 80s band or something? I could swear I heard at one point he actually has companies giving him signature model guitars? is that right? just curious after seeing the pic with him and blades. Shit, I better watch out or I will get SLICED by the BLADEZ! I know he said he jumped ship from Splawn because the firebolt TM is the baddest amp around. I thought him and Cameron were super tight buds? Wonder how Bladez feels about that? His arch nemesis Cameron is a close bud of morosini? Shit, morosini better watch out or he could get SLICED BY THE BLADEZ!!! TM
 
I think I had some correspondence with him a while back, he was trying to sell a Cameron modded B-52(lol) and I didn't realize it was a B-52 because it had a Wizard logo on it....this was a few years ago. He mentioned he had just opened up for Styx somewhere in Cali? Anyway he had a youtube up of the tone of the Cameron modded B-52(lol) and he is a pretty good player, seemed nice enough...No idea what the name of his band was though.
 
another blades post on a marshall forum, in this post he says he just took mods that already exist and put them in his amps, 2 x Cameron and one by fortin, yet now he says divine inspiration let him surpass Cameron, friedman, rockstah, etc. somebody asked who is billy blades, and billy responded with this:

After losing a prized Marshall Superlead I found myself without options and every where I went to tell my story was in business with each other. I had no options that were affordable so I hit the books.

I gave the modder fair warning because I was willing to just accept my amp n happily go away never to be heard from again.
They declined !
I EXPERIENCED TONS OF GREED IN THE BUSINESS AS WELL.

THIS JUST MADE ME WANT TO STEP INTO THE ARENA.

LOTS OF LEARNING AND LOTS OF MONEY SPENT GAVE ME THE KNOWLEDGE TO MODIFY AS WELL AS DESIGN MY OWN LINE OF CUSTOM AMPS!

ALL HANDWIRED USING THE BEST PARTS AND POINT TO POINT CONSTRUCTION.

I HAVE 3 MODELS I HAVE BEEN DEVELOPING .

FIREBOLT - CAMERON JOSE BASED
VENOM - CAMERON ALDRICH SYKES BASED
THE BEAST - FORTIN HULK BASED

THE MODDERS NO LONGER MOD SO I WANTED TO MOD INSTEAD OF EXPERIENCING THE THEFT AND GREED. I took the most sought after mods in the history of the Marshall amp circuit and put them in my amps.

After modding a lot of amps I wanted to make my own so people wont have to take an old Marshall down.

its been very rewarding and I am building my new addictions

In the Metro Forum, he says his used the Chupacabra. Then Jose. Then Cameron. Then Friedman. Now it's also Fortin? What's this guy's deal.

And he also claims his amps are PTP? Maybe he doesn't know the difference between PTP and Turret...

No man it was all good..he wasn't trying to mislead anyone. It was advertised as a B-52...just had the Wizard logo on front. Kinda funny..he wanted like 1500 for it..and that pic that is floating around here with him and Mark C? That's the pic he posted to prove that it was indeed modded by Mark C. But he seemed cool enough and wasn't rude about anything...just wanted to maximize the Cameron mojo lol....

Wow. Can't see why anyone would want to buy something from a guy that admits he stole from others. I'd be pissed if I were Mike Fortin.

This is exactly what makes me like the guy.

No wonder why some of the guys that have chimed in here are butt hurt.

I notice the things I highlighted in bold the most.

I take it as his amps are BASED off of other peoples mods.

Well with all due respect, aren't all the other peoples work that Billy "stole" from BASED off of something else like a marshall amp or something along those lines? Without the starting point there would have been nothing to mod.

While I am sure they all have done extensive research, testing, money and put their hearts into their work. What makes you think Billy did not? (besides the sloppiness of ONE amp that we have seen)

Did you know that Hefty just came out with a new garbage bag? Yes, it was based of off or rather the exact same design as something Glad made years ago and the patent had expired. They added their own ideas and twists and are selling them and making millions.

Just a little metaphor for all of you :)
