Yes Bob, that's how it works... You see, if you don't have copyrights on your music, it is unprotected, hence it can be stolen. :student:

I've heard your hair-metal era guitar stylings... I recall it was a video with you and Steve Henning? My drummer and I were laughing our asses off!  It was like watching MTV circa 1985, only the images weren't pleasant to look at. You should do another one of those, just for the comedy relief. For what it was, I thought Steve was/is the better player.

I'm doing my best, but I'm going to need more support to break my 75 page record at TGP. You're a great crowd, not nearly as difficult as TGP... Now those are some savvy posters!

You haven't got the foggiest idea about copyrighting music, otherwise you wouldn't be claiming it's the reason you don't have your music out there. It's very simple, besides, you're flattering yourself if you think you're doing something so unique that it's going to be outright stolen. There's nothing new under the sun.

As far as my playing, yeah man, I totally suck but at least I've got the guts to put it all out there.
Don't tell me people don't steal! Where are mine and my friends royalties for the slang term byotch?

What you put out there wasn't a complete composition... That was you and Steve playing licks, with no real purpose or reason. It's what I call guitar olympics. That will be stolen from me too, just watch.

As far as there not being anything new under the sun... That's a piss-poor attitude, and one that I won't bother addressing.

Question:
- If I were to post and original composition, what would prevent someone from stealing my music?
- If I were to post the chorus to one of my compositions, what would prevent someone from stealing the lyrics?

God, you just never shut up do you. Bob and Steve are both good guitarists. There's no question about that. Like it would be a bad thing to be not quite as good as Steve. Makes me wonder if you can even play. What a douche.

For the record, I thought Himmel's demo was really good. But I have a feeling he can make pretty much anything sound good.
Don't let it ruffle your Yamaka. ;)

I'm just in awe at how intent you are at proving how fucking stupid you are.

What was said is merely material for entertainment... It's not meant to be taken seriously. Even Bob knows that. Of course Bob is a great player, and I even complemented him in his abilities when he posted it.

PTP is commonly used to describe turret, and tag construction.

I think what you mean to say is "PTP is commonly used to incorrectly describe turret, and tag construction." Just because a lot of people do something, doesn't mean it's correct. That's a largely fallacious way of thinking. I understand that many people use PTP as a general name for "hand-wired" amps. But when a builder advertises a retail product as being one thing, and you buy it and it turns out to be another... that would be misrepresentation of your product, now wouldn't it.

Because point-to-point is one thing. While turret is another. And tag is yet another. But like you say, as you're around more and gain experience... you might start to pick up on the lingo. ;)

Marshall started building amps using turret board in 1962 and Marshall described it as turret board point to point then and are still building them today using turret board in their handwired etc and they describe their own product today if it uses turret board as point to point. it is currently used as a description in their advertising and spec and if THEY are wrong then they must have mis sold a lot of products
so are Marshall wrong ? really ? and they have been wrong since 1962 ?

Been away from this thread for a bit...so, has anything good or positive been contributed by anyone?

In context, wouldn't the word ignorant be more applicable? Let me guess... GED?

btw... Nice language.

No, I think stupid fits perfectly.

Clones - Billy-butt-butt is building clones of Cameron and Jose's work. p.s. - Jose relatives are looking for anyone using his (Jose) name to promote their product and making money!

Best components?? Crappy speakers, carryover transformers - Top builders use custom wound transformers to their specs. 1. to elminiate the shortfalls for carryove designs and 2. suffice the design intention. "Best"?!? Who says that, Billy Blades a.k.a. William Wilke? That's worth a pot of piss!

PTP v. Turret - Funny Yeah, if you don't know the difference, you have an issue.

In regard to amp theft...after reading years of accusations, there is NO evidence that I seen of the situation even occuring (Blades refused to provide evidence...tracking numbers, etc).

What I and people want to know is: Who is building these amps? What is their credentials and makes them qualified to do such?? What is the warranty on these amps (laughs)?

No one is...or should shell out THOUSANDS of dollars for a shitty tattoo artist (have you seen his poor work and tattoo reviews??) making "clone" amps...sorry. Leave it to the pros and people who are QUALIFIED to do it. Yes, you conned people out of designs. Yes, your word is shit and you don't stand by it for more than one reason (see previous forum postings or how Steve-a paying customer was not supported). You can build a poor example of an amp. That doesn't mean that you SHOULD be building them. Geesh! Too stupid to understand that. {shakes head}

If anyone has been unfortunate enough to purchase a Blades amp, please contact me to get together for an amp showdown.

when billy was asked to provide some sort of proof Cameron ripped him off, he would not. I have never heard of Cameron outright saying someone did not receive an amp. he usually dilly dallies and says, "almost done," or, "it in the mail," or what ever other excuse the guys uses, but Cameron said the guy never shipped him an amp? weird stuff? blades could have just used it as an excuse to form a focal point for his over the top rage and page long fits of calling people names like HOMOMANIAC, DOO DOO CHASER, or PHAGGOT (with a ph of course, he sure likes to attack guys sexuality?) perhaps mr. Cameron can step in (haaa haaaa haaaa!) and clarify whether he ever received blades prized vintage superlead and the cash along with it for a mod?? or someone to at least verify some stuff? he said Friedman tried to take him for 700, and Friedman does not strike me as a scammer or cheat in any way at all, the dude makes killer amps and mods and people love them. why would he try to cheat blades? he wouldn't. people need to know a lot of the stuff blades claims in his little man vs the giant industry fight is bullshit. he has dragged Cameron, friedman, fortin, rockstah, and others in to it saying they tried to jack him or that their mods are not even original, just stolen exact copies of a jose mod. then he does it and it is ok?? and uses the names Cameron, jose, and fortin to describe his products??? amazing hypocrisy!

shit, I better watch out or I will get SLICED BY THE BLADEZ!!!!
