OMG!!! IS this charveldan's video? And he's breaking my ball's on my video, my guitar playing? Seriously? And he is giving me career advice about being successful? Watch the video.. I'm not certain if it's him, but he's wearing a wifebeater and looks like he lives in a trailer house.. not that there's anything wrong with that, however one doesn't usually equate success he touts knowledge of having, with living in a house that looks like that.

I can understand if you don't care for the quality or content of the video's or you don't care for my playing, that's ok. I just joined this forum today to make new friends and talk about amp's, tone chasing and fun music stuff. I didn't sign up here today to be attacked.

You have to ignore him. He lives in a basement like a troll and rides his bicycle around town while telling everyone he makes huge amounts of money every year.
So in his head....he is better then you and I.
He also keeps posting pics and videos of naked women so you know he is sexually frustrated.
In the years I have been here I have not seen him post one thing positive about anyone else.
His stuff rules....your stuff is junk.

I'm a noob to all of this forum/rig talk.. It's a pleasure to be onboard with people who are so passionate about amp's and tone. I can't speak to the earlier commentary about Billy Blades, however I can say he has personally treated me with kindness and respect. As to those who don't like the visual content of the Blades video, it's ok I'm not offended. I would find it very difficult sit there and watch an ugly guy like me in a 7+ minute video, so I tried to spice it up. I edited the video so I apologize for any fails visually.

- Is it really the best amp you've ever played through?
- How would you compare it to other high-gain amplifiers you have used in the past?

the Blades amp is a great across the board tool for recording and playing live.. though I can't speak to all that's been said prior in the forums concerning a fabled prototype. I can tell you that for me it's operated flawlessly and allowed me to do my job, I own a studio and do sessions daily with it as well as the video stuff that's out there. I've owned hot rodded Marshall's, Soldano's Splawn amps etc and they were nice.. but to my ear's this amp is the Best amp for me.. not necessarily for everyone perhaps but it does cover a lot of ground.
