I got thinking tonight about the "new and improved" CCV with mixed feelings about what has transpired since placing that order.

The first 3 months didn't really think about it but got kinda excited closer to the period..as you do.
The next 3 months..fair enough it'll arrive..but was let down due to a myriad of production reasons
The 3 months after that..I was at boiling point because I had commitments that couldn't have been changed and were centred around the use of this particular product.
The next 3-5 months again..I satisfied the requirements of my commitment with another product & "cooled down" forgetting all of Cameron saga.

Yes literally, the best guys in the world are on this project for the reincarnation of the CCV MKII. If George, Dave & Ron weren't on board I would have walked a long time ago.

Almost 15 months have passed & at this point it's sheer curiosity I haven't withdrawn my order.

I want see the flagship amplifier, the big boy, & the wizard behind the curtain so to speak.

The next 3-4 months who knows but I will say I will be pissed in 12 months they decide to make a MkIII :D

Yeah, having George, Dave, and Ron is a huge + and I know this redesign was not going to happen overnight. Being in Belgium has helped curb my anger/disappointment over this since I would not be able to play the CCV anyways. So, on that note, I hope it will be close to ready in May!!! If not, I still have the Atomica to hold me over. But I want the damn CCV!!!!

I already cancelled my order and asked for money back. Since that there Brad is not doing any communication with me.
I'm already pissed and I opened a claim through my credit card provider. They will refund my deposit ……
Everyone is only talking the best about Brad, but maybe he is only the "King" in selling, but not in troubleshooting ......

Well I do not blame this solely on Brad since he is not the one redesigning the amp, but it maybe he could of communicated it a little better as far as the projected delays, etc. Well at least you are getting your deposit back.

well, I know he is not redesigning, but he is the business man behind Cameron, he get's the money from the customers and he is responsible for the customers service. And for me there is no service. Cameron is able to develop, produce and sell another two amps ( Atomica & Old Bitch ) but they are not able to put all manpower in the CCV project to satisfy the customers who paid a deposit ? Strange business method for me .......

Assuming Mark has sold his stake in the company, who owns the "Cameron Amplification" name and circuit design?

How can this amp even be considered a Cameron anymore? Its been changed up on the insides by everyone but mark.

I agree, but I guess we will have to wait and see or should I say hear!!!

I get good vibes! Brad has the right people involved in the revision, so I'm sure it will be well-worth the wait. :)

Because it's now a brand, not a person. Besides that, everything I've heard says the tone shaping circuit is the same, just the board orientation has changed to facilitate easier servicing.

I'm no supporter of "all things Cameron" and there are plenty of legitimate issues to complain about...I simply don't get yours.

Do the newer Marshall model 1959 SLP amps sound like a Marshall 1959 built in 1968? Layout and parts matter.

I learned a long time ago not to get involved in these threads. but...Yes the amp is being built by George, yes it is taking forever due to lots of other commitments from George that he had before he agreed to help us, not his fault. No I am not the sole owner of Cameron Amplifiers, it is Rob Navarrette, Dave Friedman and I.

Yes they will come out, yes they will be better, yes I apologize for the wait. Nobody has ever lost a dime to any of us and they won't here, I am sorry its taking forever. They will deliver.

Unfortunately Brad, being who you are in the company you have to be involved in these threads. I think your lack of involvment has lost you allot of respect around here. You've got guys constantly asking what's up with the amps and it seems as though most of the time the questions just go unanswered. I don't have a dog in the race but to me that shit just don't seem right. Just my two cents. ;)
