5:30 central time. Forum traffic just dropped off a cliff. No members, no mods around here.....now is the time to unload if you gotta get something off your chest and I ain't talking about a plate of food. I bet daylight savings is a time of great confusion for guys like @japetus. I'm not eating until about 7. To heck with digestion.

Made some homemade chicken nugs and a salad.
 
Japetus posted about 20 minutes ago then 530 hits. Dude disappears like a bigfoot into the thicket.

Now's the time to insult and talk smack boys. Won't be a mod around for at least another 45 mins.

Fact is, BonVonfire takes his meals at 5:30. He wants to read RT at his leisure whilst he dines. The lack of new posts bother him...he demands the 5:30 nourishment of social media and meat.

I usually eat between 3-430 or between 700 and 830. But yeah, I was dining just now and it's 11pm. The lack of new posts is bothering me. Some people can't chew and type at the same time but i'm ambidextrous and stuff. :LOL:

If this place was active as that "other place" that would be awesome. But on the other hand, I can't deal with another fucking "Best Bourbon" or another fucking Watch thread.

I like the pace of rig-talk. It's fast enough for me, just not at 5:30, lol. And I really love the members here. There is also a level of brotherhood, and camaraderie, and forgiveness and understanding here. And of course the amazing wealth of knowledge of the members. None of the other forums have all that. I've had some of the best interactions here, by telephone/text, and face to face in my AO that I've ever had from anything online.

Agree. I get kicked off FB about 7x a year. I was on my 4th try at TGP. I just can't handle censorship. This place is great. You can call someone a cunt and there's not a mod up your ass. Just about the only thing that doesn't go is threatening to burn someone's house down, LOL. I never understood all these power hungry moderators out there. Little bit of power and they feel like the Fan Bearer to the Pharaoh.

Their threads are sterile because they can't talk about whatever they like. I'm 56 years old - do I really want to beat around the bush at my age and be treated like a child. Forget it.
 
Well it's 5:30 CST here, and I'm drinking coffee for dinner. I had some cereal for breakfast and a tasty frozen pizza for lunch. I may snack on some delicious hot chips and coke later while watching tv, though this is a dinner post, not a snack post; so....coffee
