If I can get a working version of GarageBand 08 on this comp, I'll record something with a rock vibe.

Get to it!

BTW, I don't think you had too much top end in that clip.

Neither do I. I think I knocked too much off. Does it seem about right to you?

Oh! Sorry, I misread. I thought you said it had too much. Honestly, I think it's just about perfect the way it is. It has a nice bite to it without being overly harsh/trebly.

The high end sounds alright to me. But I am using the lap top speaker ,so that does not count. My freind just got back from Alaska {fishing for a living} and wanted the speakers back. I got used to it and did not pick up my own. Nice chug on the take. The lead has a nice singing tone. D-60 maybe?

I came up with something for this and will record it tomorrow.

Bob - I'll listen to yours when I post mine...

See ya tomorrow...

Steve

The tone reminded me a lot of the UL, but then again...

I'll reveal the amp shortly... I actually just revealed it and deleted the post, so there may be some who already know.

I just posted it at HC and wanted some input there before blowing it... but what the heck, I'm not in much of a game playing mood anyway. It's a Spider Valve 1x12.

Whoa! I'm impressed.
I enjoyed Ed's clip and yours was very nice as well.

I'm pretty impressed too. I will say that you have to spend some time with the amp, and that all of the models aren't going to thrill everybody but this little combo is loud and will be a great go-to when I need a quick, small jam rig to grab and go.

I'm digging it too. I think I'm going to use it at the next jam... which footswitch did you end up getting? My buddy Mike came over while I was recording yesterday and he was pretty excited about the amp too but was wondering about the footswitch capabilities.
