Let me tell you a real life experience with that
sour tit.
I have family in London and my wife & critters’ went over there for the yearly holiday.
I stayed home with the pets and bought a shit ton
of gear in a 48 hour gear acquisition syndrome
SPEND IT ALL FEST.
So back in Europa’, my wife & sister went to some
F’n Euro’ private party at some limey’ hot shot London steakhouse (The Ivy) and who plays a
intimate behind closed door concert?
That f’n dude you typed about.

So I’m home waiting on stacks of packages,
and I get sent a text from my sister….no bueno’.
That f’n dude was serenating all the chicks
with his 3 chord turn on the catwalk and dedicates a melody to my wife.
-Red eye straight to London-
-Pantera, A New Level- on repeat until my
fist meets his face.. WALK HOME BOY!
(after my fist met his face, it then was
“Fuc*king Hostile” on repeat until I got back
home in the States).

For real though, once the gear showed up..,
We’re all in this together❤️
HOLIDAY M’F’kers!!!!✌️

Words have never been more well spoken . Him and John Mayer are the token guitar players pop radio has chosen to allow in its circle of hip hop and rap and pop .
Lmao, when is the last time you saw either Ed Sheeran or John Mayer play guitar? They could hardly be further apart in terms of technical skill, John Mayer is an extremely accomplished player. No one needs to allow him anywhere, he has earned his place. I do not think the average listener thinks of Sheeran as a guitarist..and there have been...~15(?) years of similar junk male fuck-boi pop trash between them...it's just Ed and John? :D
I just heard one of his "songs" for the first time. I immediately beat up my wife. I have never heard anything that inspired so much rage. Such talentless sellout shit.
His latest stuff is truly horrible. Talentless sellout shit would be the perfect term....except that his older music was sappy cheesy romantic Mumford & One folk-pop, but written and produced brilliantly. Whoever wrote those early songs knew how to write a hook.

But he has a signature guitar. He must be awesome.
I think it's funny that a bunch of dudes on a guitar forum are trashing Ed Sheeran. While he's out touring the world, raking in the $$$, and pulling all the tail.

I can't stand Adele, either. I bought her latest vinyl for my gf for Christmas. Then told her she can't listen to it when I'm around 😂

But what really concerns me is how @Wizard of Ozz knows what's playing in the San Fran bath houses.

Not a fan of Billie Eyelash either. I do like Adele. She can sing her ass off and is super talented as a vocalist and songwriter. I am old and pop music is not my bag generally.

Movie and music business just regurgitated itself to death. Originality is gone forever

Look I’ll just say this . John can solo but never in my life have I heard one song of his and felt like I could listen to it again . I know it’s a common perception of him but I still feel that way . I’d love to hear him go full instrumental.

the secret to Ed’s success

HA I have his acoustic guitar here at the house. It actually sounds huge for such a tiny instrument.
Good songwriter, connects with a lot of people. Haters gonna hate

i grew up in the same town as john. cant wait to get our town all-star band going, hes pretty good

I dig John. But never heard any Ed songs. But I don’t listen to the radio. Pretty much what’s on my thumb drive. Have few hundred songs. I don’t travel far to work. Takes a couple weeks for it to cycle thru.
