Egnater Rebel!

I just read the Article ,and I'm surprised that no one has yet asked .the question whats the Renegade ?

Not like we will get an answer but hey lets speculate ..lol

Seminar head with clean channel,
30 watt modular head with footswitcable boost.
 
It's in the GC line, so it won't be modular and I don't see them following up a 20W head with a 30W head... Also, I don't think they'd release something so close to the seminar head in GC as the seminar head is on the "boutique" side of operations and it's what gets people to come to the classes, along with learning some tips and tricks from Bruce.
 
It's going to be a dual channel 50 watt head encorporating some of the features of the Tour Master in a smaller Rebel like package.

I'm just guessing ... and gassing.
 
I love the rebel , it looks great .

so since it has a loop , hypothetically you could run E2 into it . :)
 
Sound like a nice amp and the blend feature sounds like a cool feature.

Bruce, if you can make a stereo power amp with similar features I'd buy one. :)

I got to play the finished before the blend knob proto,and it was badass little head!

My good friend and I are going to start another band and he seriously wants to check out the rebel, even more so after hearing the mod. I have my fingers crossed that he'll let me borrow it for an afternoon so I can try out the mod50 and rebel in stereo :rock:

GC manager called today and left a message. Rebel on pre-order will ship next Monday! YAHOO!!! :lol: :LOL: Feeling all jiggly. Might have it some time next week...

Going to take the next day off after I get it. Time to play! Soooooo glad I didn't spring for the Orange TT, Backheart Lil Giant, Epi Valve Jr, Blues Jr, Classic 30, Badger 18, Line 6 umptyscratch etc etc etc. After hearing it, I really think it is a "can't miss" amp!! Egnater 10, everyone else 0. Just watch the copycats try to get their answer to the Rebel out quick. Hopefully it will have so much momentum and sales inertia at GC that it gets a solid foothold before the inferior copycats spring up.

Not that GC is the best music store (clearly is not), but the guys at my local store are singing its praises as the best amp out this year that they carry. They love the Tourmasters, too.

Dude....please let us know when you get it!! You will love this bad boy. I've heard it close up and it just smokes, and now with the blend knob........well, it just doesn't get any better than that. I'm paying two mortgages right now, but if the GC gets a Rebel in, I will have to get it!!
 
Just finished playing one thru my 4x12...I am in heaven and with a good overdrive pedal it just does it in spades! Hit it with my old Midi verb II and had some great fun!
