Fortin amp is only 25k

If the amp is so good, why does he have to give away a Rev F recto with it?
 
Idk these amps . Someone said it’s a Ceriotone . That true ? Or partially?

That one was made by Fortin (allegedly).

But most of them were made by metro. I had one, it was fun at the time, needed a boost but got pretty metal with one. Kinda thin with 6 stringers though. Your Hermansson is way better.
 
Is it a Dumble to Fortin conversion or what lol

I will admit that the clip in that listing is actually what convinced me to buy a Meshuggah. But the amp didn't sound anything like that in person. Anyway... lol @ the price

Gasp! You mean a demo on the internet didn’t match what the amp actually sounded like? This is what scares me away from these one off builds and certain mods. I hate the buy before you try on a lot of it, because usually you don’t end up liking it.

This is why I sell a lot more gear on Reverb than I do on the forums. I love to give back to the community and sell gear here and at TGP, and see if we can make a good deal for everyone; but with true collectibles, there's usually some doctor or lawyer on Reverb who's willing to buy my IIC+ for $12,000 so even with Reverb's cut I'm making more than I would with people who are in-the-know.

At the very least, I'll list it on Reverb and just see what shakes. A lot of collectors will DM you on Reverb then work out a deal privately so you get the best of both worlds. I sold a cameron for $7k "through Reverb" that way last year. So why not? A lot of people out there with more money than sense.

Full disclosure - My girlfriend is a doctor and I used to be a lawyer :LOL:
 
Getting very tired of such redundant threads about sellers listing items with completely arbitrary pricing. If their asking price is so offensive and egregious, why give them the free advertising?

Agreed. Always felt the same. It’s having the opposite of effect of what they want
