Maybe a more tech savvy guy can correct me if I’m wrong (not my strength lol), but I think (from what I understand) there are too many materials/ingredients from those days that can’t be duplicated exactly the same (I know it’s the case with the nitro finish from then and formvar wire from those pickups as some examples), so why not instead just make something new & modern that’s also great & different

Can’t argue with that. The only problem is getting a convincing enough copy. The modern amps I have now are more of their own thing

I guess, if the target is 100% copy, it can be done. Usually builders just want to add something. In this case just a straight copy needed.

I remember that retard "TheESupremacy" on HCAF that lied about absolutely everything claiming he had gotten the Magician (or maybe it was the BC30) before they were ever actually released and how it was so incredible.

There was an entire thread about it where the whole forum poked holes in all his bullshit and he quit the forum

Actually, the exact opposite reason. I like to get cool gear and when someone lists something at a price like this, everyone raises their prices for the same item by quite a bit. Makes it harder to get cool gear. Personally, I don’t want to spend a bunch of extra cash because some dude posted his amp at a preposterous price.

If I sell something, I give forum friends good deals, if I got a really good deal, I will pass the gear on at the same price I got it for. I always kind of thought forums were to make friends with other guitarists, trade gear info, help each other out, and pass on a killer deal when you get one. When someone gave me a killer deal I was always super grateful. But, that’s just me.

That dude was a special kind of retarded. He was known to be an admin on an Android Phone forum (seriously, he actually was), yet would tell people on HCAF that he didn't know how to upload photos from his phone so every NAD thread he would post had zero pics. People would explain it to him step by step yet he'd come up with an excuse every time about how it wasn't working etc.

Turned out he was just making shit up for e-cred the entire time

LOL!! I remember that. That guy is responsible for some of the most epic threads ever. He actually might have the record for most epic and lul-zy threads in HCAF history
