Since you're here and some of use are looking at the schematic from the gain channel on the Satan 50 somebody had a question: why the cathode follower as V1b to drive the gain controls? (assuming the version of the amp we're looking at is still a match for your circuit and you're willing to discuss).

No prob, but not publicly, because I don't want to feed the undisputed master of plagiarism anymore with further deeper tech info.
I'm convinced, that he doesn't know until this day, why I've done it this way - he's simply copied it and presumably thought by himself: "When Larry has done it this way, then it must be right"

Sure can man. It isn't a big secret and it literally says on the website. In the U.K. All done by hand. I cannot, due to an NDA, state who will be making them in said country, and that is very common practice when working with OEM manufacturers that produce several different brands. But yes, as stated, handmade in the U.K. populated, soldered, assembled, etc, in the U.K. Even the headshells are made in the U.K.

He just said it’s assembled in the UK. That’s where they are built. If they put Chinese tubes or resistors in it does it make it made in China? Maybe according to your logic.

There's a difference between having PCBs or caps made and sourced from a foreign manufacturer and you soldering everything yourself than having it pre-fab'd there and you just screw it into a chassis and plug in ribbon cables like the Invective amps. This is the point most people seem to get upset about, people do this just to have that USA/UK/Canada/wherever label on the side. Peavey changed their "Made in the USA" label to have "Designed and Engineered in the USA" to try to confuse people into thinking it was still made in the USA since it sells better and you can charge more.

At least Randall is honest about where their stuff is made, when they flubbed and said Made in USA they clarified they were actually made in China before the amps went on sale. The fact that Fortin employs engage shows he is completely devoid of character to have such people associated with himself. It was better when all he did was post up "NGD" threads with photos of his new guitar in his chair he listed for sale 2 days later riding the hype train from his photos and NGD thread lol. Does he still have the James Hetfield guitar that never existed ? lol

The MESHUGGAH had a typo that was fixed in less than an hour. Barely anyone saw it and it was fixed super quickly. Never made a typo before? That must be pretty nice. Seriously, grasping at straws now and it might be time to grow up.
