This has been one of the coldest and snowy-est ( if thats a word ) winters in Iowa that I can remember. Poor Al Gore you little tool you, why dont you fly around the world in your personal jet a few more times and then see if you can figure out why 1938 was the warmest year on record not 1998 as once previously the UN lied to us about. Maybe if you can answer that you can win another nobel "peace" prize

I'm doubly bitching here. Construction started on my house a few weeks ago, it was ok during the heat wave, but now its friggin COLD!
Oil burner is kicking into overdrive, its so damn windy in my house I could fly a kite in my den, and since they tore the top of my house of in the back, 3 out of my 4 children are in bed with us, plus the two great danes. (at least its warm at night, if not more than a tad clostrophobic)

yeah, we had that attitude for the first 8 days or so, now I am considering putting a bounty on the middle sons head. if anything, it would give me more leg room at night!

Up here in CT, the far north as it were, it's fluctuating between mid 30's and high 20's. Right now it's mid 30's, which is annoying because I want to go play hockey but the pond is cracking something fierce. The weather never does what I want .

Well its balmy 6 degrees F now. The night before last it was in the -20 range and we had a windchill of -38. Unfortunately, Feb. is usually colder.
