If you get the chance, the DiMarzio EVO 2 is a killer too. Same with the Suhr Aldrich...I have that in my '87 Kramer (it's my "go to" guitar) and it's never coming out. Aldrich with 2 DiMarzio HS-3 in neck and middle.
I just worry I'll lose top end if I go with something too hot

I miss Tahoe. I used to play at Caesar's a few decades ago.
Me and my dropout buddies lived in stateline. Two of us worked at the Horizon the other guy worked at Lakeside. Dart discount liquors was my favorite store at the time (not just for the cheap smokes and booze neither). They had good sandwiches and H-D cigs for 1.51 per pack.....

Ah, I miss being young, playing at Caesar's and goin' home with cocktail waitresses...

These 2 pickups have plenty of top end but they're never shrill or spikey. The regulation has a nasty spike at 5K, but the EVO 2 doesn't.

Both of those pickups clean up really well when you roll the volume knob back.

I mean the regular Evolution bridge pickup can get real screechy. The EVO 2 fixes that. I need more coffee.

I just got done eating and I come back to this homo love fest........
Me and Johnny are friends. It doesn't really bother me if he does or doesn't like a political candidate. I try not to view the world through political lenses, it's better that way.

What's wrong with him, did he fall on his head?

People have different political beliefs and most of them I don't agree with even when they are "conservative". So I don't spend time asking myself what's wrong with someone who disagrees with me on a given subject. If you seek the inner life your mind quiets down about that a lot more and it's no longer central to your existence. Or maybe I just have fewer brain cells today than before.

Were are all in that same boat in a way, but it's not about politics as much as it's understanding what is actually happening in the world around you.

Yes I would agree but I guess what I'm talking about is I no longer have the same level of desire to assert that understanding over someone who will probably never see it the way I do. It's strife, for starters. And it robs your peace because you generally encounter resistance. Social media is full of people who want you to clique up over beliefs. If I reject that worldly kind of thinking then I am living the kingdom life int hat regard, today.

It's not a matter of beliefs, it's a matter of facts.

Your buddy probably doesn't know that the U.S. dollar is on the edge of collapse. These things people need to pay attention to or they are going to get hurt.

Don't you think it would help your friend to understand that all his money in the bank could be lost at the snap of a finger?

"That which a man loves, to which he turns, that he will find. If he loves earthly things, he will find earthly things, and these earthly things will abide in his heart, will communicate their earthliness to him and will find him; if he loves heavenly things he will find heavenly things, and they will abide in his heart and give him life"-St. John of Kronstadt

That is beautiful but when his bank does a bail in and offers him a promissory note, he is going to wish you warned him.

You can warn him but the reality is even if you were 100 percent right, people will make their own decisions and they are often not ones we consider good. Most people learn by experience and so warnings and "I'm telling you you're wrong" never work anyways, and often create strife. Wisdom vs knowledge. Knowledge is great but useless without wisdom, which is the application of knowledge. Here: you pulled your cash out the bank but you are not orthodox so you'll hopefully protect your worldly finances but you definitely aren't protecting your eternal soul with holy orthodoxy. Are you going to go become orthodox now? I doubt it but just remember, "I told you so". So tell me, as the reader, was it worth me warning you?
