It’s not a scientific sample, but the only people in my family/ close circle that have actually gotten Covid (some multiple times) are the ones who got the shot. Fortunately my retired doctor father in law was strongly opposed to me, wife and kids getting the jab. Glad we didn’t. No one is anti-vaccine.. just didn’t want to be test subjects for experimental drug (whether effective or not) where we faced little risk from the underlying disease its trying to prevent

I got it twice, but i never wash my hands. It was fucking inevitable. Plus i never was afraid of the flu, so i just partied the whole fucking time.

The vaccine was not something i was interested in because I wasnt afraid of getting covid again. I wasnt anti vax either. Honestly, i was anti mask because the premise was retarded and it was uncomfortable.

In my line of work, a lot of times, the solution is often worse than the perceived problem, so i dont try to prevent innocuous situations.

It is sad that some died. But in the end, people die. It has never been and never will be something that can be prevented. I have never lived my life in fear, and never will. I am just glad it is over. The vaccine saved us! Lmao. I hope one day, they will admit what a massive overreaction it was. The misclassification of deaths and accounting of asymptomatic cases was a fucking travesty.

Totally the 6 feet thing was made up. There's no universal rule that viruses can't travel more than 6 feet. Staying farther from people does help though.

Also, masks are more for sick people to stop spreading their shit to other people. They still work better than nothing for stopping you from getting sick, but not nearly as well as when sick people wear them.
