Glad I never enter that place.

To the OP, to be honest, the main difference I see in RT from TGP is this is a more close knit group. I recognize and feel like I know people here (to a certain extent).
I also feel like people here will argue on one thread and unite on another which I think is unique and very cool.

Yes we have assholes here, but they’re our assholes. So it’s all good.
 
Canadians literally do not get to moralize to americans about literally anything while their supposed police are too fat and lazy to investigate the disappearances of hundreds of native women that have obviously been murdered

While Canada's justice system has many flaws, such as the tragedy that you describe, it's definitely not worse than the USA. I mean, you guys imprison the highest number of your own people in the world, both as a percentage and as an absolute number.

And...let's not pretend that the right wing would go out of their way to help our First Nations people. That's laughable.

Tell me what governmental organization has ever helped First Nations people and describe what those actions were. Then demonstrate how those actions benefited and uplifted First Nations people. Handouts don't count.

The sense of community I have found on this forum is uplifting, to be honest. Yeah, we have the crazy political stuff, which I tend to avoid, but we have a lot of fun conversations and I have learned a lot about gear here. Open discussion is encouraged and people seem to work hard to keep honest with buying/selling gear. I mean, that has like 90% of the rest of the internet beat, if not more. I have never used The Gear Page btw.

I do not recall what caused me to use RT for the first time, but I am sure glad for it!
