How many of you are Strat guys?

I remember pining over one of those yngwie malmseen strats. A local music shop now closed had one so I could play it. Brings back a lot of memories.

How are you enjoying it?
I absolutely love it. It is a wonderful sounding and playing guitar. I had no problem acclimating to the scalloped neck. One minor complaint (that others have noted as well) is the high E tends to slide off the side of the neck too easily, especially at the higher frets.

1998 USA with Wilkinson bridge, scalloped neck,

kill switch volume knob and push push tone pot to get neck/bridge goodness. Does everything, I don't need any other guitar.

I need The Pickup Selector and Volume to be in a Strat position..
But my Guitars are all 2 H's

I would go for the early 2000s Lonestar strats. I collect them and think they are the best build and timewise considering the overwound pearly gates.

I LOVE this guitar! Those are big frets - Dunlop 6100s?
The Frets are actually scalloped, I think they look bigger than normal because of it. I actually took a chance and did the scalloping myself. It worked out ok, and then I dyed the fretboard, because I prefer the look, its actually maple.

Sorry...the NECK is scalloped....you cant scallop frets of course...lol

are my eyes deceiving me or you missing a couple of fret markers? I guess from the scalloping?

Yeah, they came off, but I kind of dig the look. That said, Im going to have to order some white stick ons, cause I have no idea where I am on the fretboard.

I need white stick on ones too. Please let me know where you find them. I want to cover up the yellow ones on a Charvel I have - Wildcard #7.

I saw some on ebay, from some Chinese place.

I have a couple strats. I like strats. I just got the best strat I have ever played. I custom ordered it from Miranda. Price is great and quality is as good as anything out there.i had it built to 1960 strat specs except had a 10 inch radius. Also had a one piece alder body: it sounds and plays amazing.

Been a strat guy for many years.I love pauls too.Im up to 14 strats. All different, some vintage, some modern, then a bunch of super strats ala charvel,Tom A,Suhr,Jackson, etc.

I prefer super strats myself but maybe I’ve never played the right strat. Would like to pick one up one day.

I play an Schecter import NJ SSH. I tried some fenders but didn’t gel with them. Tried the NJ and it just felt right. I’ve since swapped out the pickups for Suhr v63’s and SSH+ with coil split. Can’t beat a strat for versatility. I prefer Les Paul’s but the songs we play are more aimed at a strat sound.

I’m not sure how this forum is since I’m new but in others man Schecter gets a ton of hate but I own a c1 classic and have played others and they are extremely well built for the price point in my opinion.

Strats are suck ass guitars. However there once was one man who rectified the situation with class, tone, and beauty, and his name is James Tyler. Say it with me: JAMES TYLER. He is a legend in the industry.

Feast your eyes boys:
