Hurricane Helene

I’m watching the North Carolina footage and the flooding up there is awful.
They are having dam washouts and stuff up there, far east TN and western NC. I think they are actually getting the worst of the storm. Beach flooding is short lived and a beach is nothing but a sand bar, which drains and dries quickly. Those areas up there in TN NC are basically river bottoms.

Well I'm glad you are relatively unscathed brother. It was a frog strangler here yesterday and we still have some wind right now. No real damage though.
Thank you. Gusts in Savannah were recorded in the 80’s most of the night.

Just saw that there’s 40 deceased so far.

Power went out here on the island Thursday night, restored at 11:11 AM this morning. Tornado warnings Thursday evening and overnight. Some roads flooded and closed, trees down, some damage but it was minimal. IIRC, we had 90 mph hour gusts overnight Thursday. The storm surge here wasn't bad

Some locals were enjoying the surf before the worst arrived later Thursday night.

Savannah feels the impact as Hurricane Helene nears the Gulf ...

A surfer rides a wave near the pier as Hurricane Helene brought heavy surf and winds to Tybee Island on Thursday, September 26, 2024.

Not sure what that means, but I'll just assume it's more of you being you. All vague and "Intriguing" and shit.

And I couldn't give a fuck less about likes bro. I think the whole system with likes is retarded and should be immediately abandoned.
