States were states before there was a US. It’s literally in the title. Saying you don’t believe in it is essentially pointless. It’d be great if we could just remake our world to our own liking, but that is a fantasy. Something most people don’t believe in, fantasies. For the record Lisa I never claimed to be a "Conservative," whatever that even means anymore, and just like "Liberal" has no real meaning anymore either. I haven't voted since 2012 because the political process is rigged, immoral and doomed. I am opposed to big government unlike "Liberals" (I always put 'Liberal' in quotes because they are not liberal) — and even most conservatives who are typically fine with it so long as it's used to further their pet causes via their preferred politicians.
You might be confused when I say I'm a capitalist but at the same time argue for socializing banks or space X for example. In this case I'm not saying that it would be good to socialize banks or space X, but in my view if we're going to have public funding and backstopping, then it's only fair that these institutions are controlled by the taxpayer, IE socialized. The government should not be in the business of space exploration and market interventions to begin with. These are socialist programs.
Borders are another issue like this that settles in the other direction: I don't believe in state borders because I believe in private property, not socialized (State) property. On the other hand, given that we live in a state controlled geographic area that includes taxpayer funded social programs, we can't allow mass illegal immigration and open borders.
When I say I don't believe in it, I mean I don't agree with it. I am pointing out just as with the other examples what I think is ideal versus what is practical given the world we live in.States were states before there was a US. It’s literally in the title. I know. It’s like saying I want all the leftists rounded up and forced to stay in New York and California. Or saying I want rain to be made out of Hendricks Grand Cabaret. Unrealistic is an understatement. When I say I don't believe in it, I mean I don't agree with it. I'm responding to your criticisms. Unfortunately I don't think you have the brainpower to keep, up so instead you just dismiss as circular and feign that you can't be bothered. Feel free to not comment if you don't actually have anything to addNot sure why you're telling me all of this? I don't really care, tbh. I don't feel like you believe 99% of the things you post. I think you're just saying things to be edgy and/or trying to bait people into ridiculous circular arguments for whatever reason. Perhaps it's your hobby? I dunno, but it's ridiculous enough anymore to not even give time to.

John Astin is a national treasure.Gomez the cock.
You snark at 90% of my comments but always have excuses when challenged: "Waste of time" "Troll" "A third grader would know that" etc. LAMEWas I talking to you? Brainpower? You're out of your mind. A third grader dwarfs your "brainpower" Yet you somehow expect people to waste their time explaining the obvious to a troll. What a joke.
What about Sean?John Astin is a national treasure.
Well, he was adopted so he comes from questionable stock, clearly. What about Sean?

See? How about instead defend your dumb idea that bank bailouts are congruent with a capitalist economy? ...No parroting the Chimp's "I’ve abandoned the free market to save the free market" bullshit eitherChallenged?
"Bees don't waste their time explaining to flies that honey is better than shit."

If you're not going to respond then how about STFU re: my posts? There you go twisting and putting words into other people's mouths, as per usual. You really can't help yourself, can you?
Sorry if you decided to spend your life complaining that everyone but you are responsible for your misfortunes, but only you have the power to change it. It's not my problem, and I've given your idiotic posts way more time than I should have. Especially considering that they're posted in bad faith and you're simply a troll. Tbh I really hope that you're just a troll, because if you believe 1% of the bs that you post than you're pretty daft.
It's incompatible with a merit based society but I think only the kingdom of heaven will actually be merit based, but not merit based based in the sense of any worldly accomplishment or know how other than loving God with all our hearts and our neighbors as though they were ourselves. How about instead defend your dumb idea that bank bailouts are congruent with a capitalist economy?

So heaven is merit based eh? I would have figured that there was not rank up there. Like the notion that we must ascend this spiritual latter in order to get closer to god through reincarnating a zillion times. I mostly have because an atheist because of these viewpoints about the afterlife. I'd rather have my soul permanently dissipated than come back to this miserable fucking planet. But I'm not really an atheist, as I can't accept just not existing. But basically hate life, hate this planet. What was this thread about again? LOLIt's incompatible with a merit based society but I think only the kingdom of heaven will actually be merit based, but not merit based based in the sense of any worldly accomplishment or know how other than loving God with all our hearts and our neighbors as though they were ourselves.
No you didn't engage with my question. You claimed I was misrepresenting your position. You could have said, "I didn't say that bailouts are capitalist, here's my position:..." But you didn't, because that was in fact what was implied when you defended the bailouts during my critique of American "capitalism" in the Bernie thread. So You are projecting when you say I don't argue in good faith.I did respond, you're just an imbecile who's incapable of living in reality.
Anyways, good luck with all of that.
