I HAVE JUST BEEN SCAMMED: Ebay/Paypal rant

Had a similar thing happen to me, but with an amp... Guess what Paypal did?
NOTHING!! Well... less than nothing. They charged me a transaction fee for his withdrawl! LOL! :D

I don't take paypal anymore... Postal Money order or Cashiers check only.
 
Sorry to hear this, I'd go looking for that clown.

That said, I used to own a 97 Imac,
if anyone fucked me on the deal it was Mac!
That thing was a total POS.
 
Gaypal does indeed suck, even for the buyer as well. I bought a CD from some smaller distro online, paid with Paypal (roughly $18 after shipping etc) and waited for about two weeks. Sent two e-mails to the distro, waited another couple of weeks and didn't receive anything from them nor did I hear back from them. I filed a claim with Paypal, and a week later I got an e-mail saying that Paypal ruled in favor of me (the seller didn't even bother replying to the claim). Sounds great right? Well, the seller pulled all the money out of his account so there was nothing there for Paypal to take back, I'm guessing they have a negative $18 in their account but who gives a fuck, I'm out of my money. Paypal doesn't protect ANYONE, buyer or seller.

I only use Paypal with retailers I trust and people I trust.
 
UPDATE:

FOUND MY IMAC
I got a call from somebody this morning who just bought an IMAC with my administration info on it. So the prick sold my imac to some other dude. Waiting around till 7pm for my officer's shift to start so I can call him and update him.....new york's gonna have to wait..
