America is far from perfect. Which countries made your "all that great" list?

Education decine and religious fervor is at an all time high right now.

We're educating tens of millions of illegal aliens at no cost to them. We have one of the highest literacy rates in the world (even with all those illiterate illegals in the country dragging our literacy rates down).

You claim that religious fervor is at an all time high right now, but you should compare it to the religious fervor in much of the Muslim world - we don't even come close. We're not even close to much of Europe's level of religiosity.

Your statements appear to based on limited context and limited global knowledge. Compared to the rest of the world, America is all that great, very literate and educated, and quite secular in nature. Of course there are exceptions found everywhere, and of course America has much room for improvement, but contrary to your sentiments the sky is not falling.

Communism is a great philosophy which will always get screwed up due to the nature of mankind.

Communism forces humans to submit to the will of others and eliminates freedom, especially the type of freedom that alows you to express opinions like that which you just expressed. I suspect that you are enamored with the idea that communism can solve the ills of man, but I see no evidence of this. Compare communist countries to democratic countries - how many people flee democracy to seek refuge in communism? Even the "poor" in America don't seek refuge in socialist or communist countries, because the "poor" in America would be considered rich in those countries.

All that hippie shit sounds good when you're young and naive, but if you have the will to go out and make something for yourself America is the greatest country on Earth. Ditch the weed, get a haricut, take a bath and go out there and grab your piece of the American dream - it's there for the taking if you have the discipline to go out and get it. Hell, even the illegals that invade our country love American capitalism more than you do, maybe you can trade places with one of them that came from a socialist or communist country and you'd both be happier.

I didn't change the subject, you said America wasn't all that great and listed one of the reasons as religious fervor. I pointed out that in the broader scope of things, America is actually very secular and not religious at all compared to most places on the planet and I used Muslims as an example since there are far more Muslims that there are Americans.
