At the beginning of Tornado of Souls a young fan decided he wanted to jump on stage with the band. The security guards did their job and stopped him, I didn't see if the guy started fighting with the security guards as 4 of them drug the guy away from the stage but Dave Mustaine started bitching at the guards saying the guy did nothing wrong and and 4 guys should not be roughing the fan up........... he then proceeds to waste 20 plus minutes of the show bitching at the security guards saying he didn't want them up there any longer and they were all pussies for 4 of them to tackle the guy. I guess there was some punching involved but it was hard to see from my angle, I wouldn't be surprised if the stage jumper started punching first................:dunno:

The result was he has to skip playing Symphony of Destruction and Peace Sells and only had time to play the Encore of Holy Wars. I guess he had to stop playing at exactly 11:00PM according to him. So Dave fucked the rest of his fans out of his three most popular tunes, he didn't restart playing Tornado of Souls even, he just moved on to Holy Wars said thank you good night!:thumbsdown:

So because one guy wanted to stage jump everyone lost out because Mr. Mustaine thought the guards were being bullies as he stated numerous times.......I understand his viewpoint but if that guy got on stage and injured him or his bandmembers he would probably be pissed off at the security guards not doing their job.....................JEEEEEEESH!:jerkit::thumbsdown:

Oh well..... as for the show Dave's amp tone was pretty crunchy and well as his other guitar player, drummer was tight and overall it was a good show playing most of their older songs in the set list, it would have been nice to hear SOD and Peace Sells................. I couldn't really tell if he was using amps or modeling like a fractal...........Both Dave and Teemu played well. Teemu does play alot like Marty Friedman!

Not my video.......

I'm guessing the kid won't jump on another stage again anytime in the near future.

News flash: that wasn't Kiko. It's Teemu Mäntysaari.
Yeah I guess you are right..........they had Dave's vocals so buried nobody could make out alot of what he was saying to the crowd anyway!

Pretty sure Dave and Kiko were using the Cortex last time they went out. Bunch of vids showing it.

Not sure what’s being used this go ‘round.

Kind of the same thing happened with Iron Maiden at a show I went to at the Tacoma Dome a few years ago. Security went after somebody, Bruce stopped the show and called them bullies then said the guy should sue the venue, and then no joke, police in riot gear showed up outside the venue seemingly over that comment. I think I remember reading about it later and the dude who the security went after was actually heavily in the wrong (don't remember the details, atm). Main difference though between my last Maiden vs Megadeth show was that I could understand Bruce, not so much Dave :ROFLMAO:

What gives someone a right to jump on stage and be a dick? Stand and watch the show like everyone else. If you have to get up on stage in 2023 and show everyone your video of you being a rebel, you have nothing else in life but being vain and full of yourself.

Dave can hit as mad as he wants. I guarantee if that guy had leveled him like that guy did at a show to Mick Mars or when Slash got knocked over, he would have flipped out.

I don't think the bodyguards should beat anyone up but Dime is gone because a guy got on stage.

These stories usually have a little bit of wrong on both sides. :dunno:

What irks me and probably @harddriver the most is the fact that Dave had to stop and talk about it for 20 min. And there was probably an 11 o'clock hard stop curfew. Sadly, Dave probably knew that too. Symphony is one of my favorite Megadeth songs so sucks that the rest of the fans had to miss out on those last two songs.

PS: Huge Megadeth fan btw

Dave's tough guy talk always makes me laugh.
I agree…until I found out he has been training in bjj for years and I believe just got his back belt. A belt doesn’t make you a fighter but it shows you are well on your way though….

As far as the stage thing…remember what happened with LOG? Hopefully the douche bag got smacked around some more if he got back in the crowd.

Saw the band live four years ago. Easily top 3 metal performances!
