I went to the Megadeth show last night and a young fan tried to jump on the stage..........................

Axl does a dozen jelly rolls after his morning yoga. Who wouldn't be in a good mood after all that sugar!

Dave also told the crowd that his tour manager had booked the show we were at and he fired the tour manager because of it....... so it seemed he didn't want to be there playing the show anyway was how I took it.

You shouldn't really let your paying fans that will still buy your tickets know that you did not want to come to their town and play..... albeit the show was only half sold out but it was a pretty good sized arena so the turn out was about 5k by my estimation. I have seen Megadeth in the 2004-8 in small theaters that was less than that at max capacity so I guess he just likes being a 62 y/o "GET OFF MY LAWN" kinda guy.........

I don't know what happened. He said that the rest of the security guards were doing their job. I've been to a bunch of megadeth shows back when Marty was still with them and the security guards were always well behaved.

The last couple shows I went to with them the security said if they catch you going over the wall 3 times they kicked you out. Seems reasonable i guess. The amon amarth/carcass/Obituary show i went to even had women security guards to grab women crowd surfers which I thought was really smart on the club's behalf.

I've been some shows where these giant security guys beat the hell out of someone a quarter of their size. Even if the guy threw a punch they are typically big enough to wrap them up and get them out. I'm a small guy and have been hit a lot over the years and oddly enough I've never been incapacitated by a punch to the head. I got beat up by like 4 rednecks from a neighboring bar after a punk show cause the girl I was with was talking shit. I looked like Rocky after with both eyes swollen shut but never went down. Now if they hit them in the throat, the magic button on the jaw, stomach, or nuts they felt it if not they probably didn't. It's tough to make a call without seeing it but I imagine Dave, Bruce, or whoever has a financial motivator in making sure every one comes home safely even if they were a dumbass.

Then again I'm old and usually leave before the encores so I likely wouldn't have been bothered either way.

Dave lives for the feud. Dude is never happy and talks shit about everyone who was in Megadeth. Metallica was smart enough to get rid of him early and he still constantly wines about it. They haven't been the same since Marty left the band.
