I went to the Megadeth show last night and a young fan tried to jump on the stage..........................

I'm willing to bet Mustaine has an undiagnosed Bipolar disorder.
 
Most fights are someone shit talking then one punch and out
OR two people rolling around on ground for about 45 seconds calling eachother bitch and fucker until they “peter out”. I guess that means they go limp or flaccid.
I have never seen karate help anyone in a fight except on TV. Has anyone here ever karate chopped someone into submission? It would be cool for sure.

It all depends on who gave you the belt(s), and at what school. There are title holders in the UFC that have not reached that level yet. And yes, Dave somehow achieved that level very quickly...and yes, he's not a fun guy to encounter in person.

therein lies the problem....the "mcdojofication" of BJJ. An unfortunate reality.
 
I have always found live Megadeth to be too "quiet" compared to other live bands. Maybe that is why I am going ultra deaf?
I suppose Dave wants a clear mix, but it always lacks "oomph". Too much lowe volume treble and mids in the guitars live.

Maybe he was having an off night and found pontificating for several minutes as a good excuse to give his voice a rest from singing? And covering his ass from any liability?
As much as I hate to see fans get their ass whipped by the jackbooted guards, if they'd stay the fuck off the stage, there would be no ass whippings. None of us want to see another Dimebag scenario.
 
I think Dave acting pissed about something is just part of their show now.
 
I guess I'm the only person on the planet who has always had good interactions with Dave, I met him numerous times. He was always gracious and very nice. I even took a chance and asked him to sign an old copy of the "No life till leather" cassette. He asked what it was, label on the cover was blank, I told him, he just smiled, signed it and asked where I found that, this was way before the internet. in my experience, dude has always been cool. I wish I still had that demo, I do still have Peace Sell, Countdowns, and Youthanasia signed covers.

i mean....maybe? about a bazillion variables in there. If they're roughly the same size and have no training in any wrestling, grappling, or striking...yeah probably.

We have a D1 offensive lineman that comes to the gym and trains. 6'5", 330sh. Fast. Just started training about 6 months ago. he can smash the bejeesus out of lots of salty old vets. Throw in some striking and he'd kill them. There's a reason there are weight classes in fight sports, wrestling, grappling, etc....and Father Time is undefeated.

He just got a brown belt in jiu jitsu at 61, add to that the fact he has a blackbelt in Taekwondo and studied karate before that I reckon he could still handle himself ... plus he's an angry red head

It would probably do him some good . I think Axl has really mellowed since hooking up with AC/DC then getting back with Slash and Duff
