Imagine that! A gigantic healthcare CEO murdered. Who’d of thunk…?

It Is very difficult. It's our fallen nature that makes revenge seem sweet. How many times have we taken our revenge in smaller ways? But revenge doesn't bring back our loved ones or change what has happened, the Lord does. The Lord ordered Peter to sheath his sword, and healed the ear of the soldier who was trying to arrest him. We are ORDERED to forgive those who have wronged us or we will not be forgiven. If we have hated our brother than we have murdered him in our heart. How many times have we done that? Here is one of my favorite YouTube videos on the power of forgiveness:

Evil wants to be forgiven so it can keep on being evil, though. I can forgive evil only if it is sorry. I cannot forgive that which is not sorry.

I've learned a lot from VonBon but I tend to agree with you and I'm not even religious. :dunno:

But back on topic:

@JackBootedThug Forgive my ignorance brother, but what's with the cable wrapping?

I believe what you are seeing is a generic internet pic that he found showing that model gun with an extended mag 'strapped' into the handgrip. Of course, that is not safe, nor legal probably - hence the generic internet pic. :dunno:

NP brother. He can probably tell you more since it is....you know....his pic....of something he found on the internet. :D

It’s legal as long as you follow the laws regarding their sale and possession. Besides, that picture isn’t anything but a picture. There’s no indication of what action, if any, is in the receiver.

Christians are called to forgive those who aren't sorry as the Lord forgave those who weren't sorry for putting him on a cross. Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us, the Lord's prayer. If we forgive others we are guaranteed forgiveness so I quit beating up people over $20 and hating people for anything else that pissed me off that the offending party wasn't sorry for.

And I say this as my wife is in the process of trying not to get dicked over on a woman surgery she had in March by her health care provider after coughing up thousands in deductibles. The CEO's get theirs and wind up riding around in sports and luxury cars by themselves and living in empty mansions alone. Not loving others enough is a curse greater than death.💀☦️

What I like to say is what comes around goes around

:dunno:

But I'm looking more from a survival of the fittest perspective.

The big execs at big pharma and big hc don't give a shit about us - and sorry about your wife VB

I mean yeah you hose enough people someone will probably be calling you out on it eventually. Murder is pretty harsh, wouldn't a beating suffice? Maybe I should have an in person meet with my wif'e's insurer but it sounds like a another way to bust up my knuckles. I can do that without leaving the property., lol.

Insurers in the United States: "Prexisting conditions".

The rest of the world: "Medical history".

A good friend of ours (R.I.P.) worked for one of the big medical insurance companies. She took an early retirement for less pension because she was disgusted with the amount of claim denials.
It's all confirming my conclusion that the only real insurance is what the Lord offers.

Word.
But yeah man. I would argue for the masses that karma and what comes around can exist outside of any religious condemnations.

As much as our judicial system sucks sometimes, I feel overall, it serves most of us well. Locally. I support a judge and jury system in general. Also, I'm generally in the consensus that two wrongs don't make a right. So knee jerk revenge is less favored than say....time.
