Ossie was going for the Van Halen Fair warning sound with the Blockhead amps he explained that to me
 
I don't think it's that fizzy, at least no more than any other Jose styled Marshall.

But hey, I use one Alnico Cream (w/ a Scumback) in my 212 so maybe I don't mind it.

To be fair, I’ve never heard anyone else record high gain on alnico creams… they may be great…. But I have no basis for comparison. I do really like the way regular cream backs sound.
 
I have Alnico Creams and if anything I don't care for them because they're too smooth (opposite of fizzy). I think Reza's clips just sound harsh from something about his recording execution. Another example of how clips can sometimes be misleading. He has still a similar overall sound in his clips where he uses V30's or other speakers. Alnico Creams also are pretty different sounding than Creamback 65's IME

I've been in the room with Mark playing a few dozen times, at least. He rips. Plain and simple. He has a killer right hand attack and just plays like he is showing the guitar who its daddy is.

Now I will admit that his clips are him just going from one riff to another endlessly like probably most of us do when we are messing around with our tones instead of actually playing music. It's like a "you know what riff would sound cool with this tone? This one. Yeah it sounds great, you know what else would sound cool with this tone? This one. You know what else would...." It's the exact same thing I do when I should be recording music or actually playing the guitar. It makes sense for Mark to do it when he is showcasing an amp. It doesn't make sense for me to do it.

Looks like they are looking for investors..................here's what is in the text section of this video that was posted 10/13/24. How many contract manufacturers are going to want to go into business with them after the Friedman Brad King debacle?
