Same for me, I spoke with him on Monday, non-productive call, poor reception/drops and called him couple of times today to discuss my amp and got voice-mail only.

I am hopping the Barrangs history be for real...

well, I am going to be visiting LA in a Feb and I expect to pay a visit to Mark Cameron to see my amp and its evaluate the state of affairs, which was reported to me as 90% done, as that work was done by Jerry with the remaining board and other stuff to be completed by Mark. I am hoping that he will finish it and I have it before I have to pay a visit to his place, considering he told me I was #2.

If he was evicted the best thing he could do would be to get in touch with me and let me evaluate how I can help the situation. He's a talented dude who makes ass kicking amps, no need to go hungry. He should just be designing new stuff and have NOTHING to do with production, money or clients. I think thats how he would like it as well. But until I speak with him its only speculation.

Totally agreed. I hope he was able to stall and not be evicted. The one thing he's told me is that stress flares up his various health issues (personal and I don't want to discuss in detail here) and when that happens it basically knocks him out of commission for a few days. I'm hoping for the best.

Wow there is alot of tension here
I am pretty new to this place, But have been involved in music for a long time, and have discovered that there are 2 kinds of amp guys. Ones that are INSANELY prompt and reliable, and then the opposite extreme.
I can understand where the customers are coming from, 3 grand is a chunk of change! Healthy down payment on a car, Or a small one on a house, Or enough money to buy enough deyoung transformers and components to build a few very nice amplifiers.
On the other hand, one of the first things i saw when reading the forum was the notation below the cameron sub-forum. Jumped right out at me. So at least there was some forewarning going in.
Builders are Guitar guys who have figured out how to make something cool. Guitar guys as a whole, are not the most thriving successful business guys in the world, So it is somewhat to be expected that there be a bit of run around sometimes. But there is no reason to stoop to name calling, Bigotry, Petty arguing, etc.
If it is getting to the zero communication point, File a class action suit before your statute of limitation runs out, and go from there
I really hope all of you get your amps, I listened to a clip of them, and they really do sound sweet. It sound like someone needs to buy an amp, and go sit at his house and watch him order all the components, and watch him build them. lol

Anyone can see from a mile away you guys are going to go nowhere fast with this if you dont cool down and think it through. You guys dont understand how fast things can happen once a production shop gets ahold of a CCV. Also a few other words of encouragement without getting too specific. Mark told me months back that if this barrang thing went down that there were some awesome oportunities to score really kick ass components for the CCVs as Barrang does another ULTRA HIGH END amp makers assembly and they could just tack his parts on the same order. He was excited about the whole thing so dont think hes just sitting around doing nothing. I hope this works out for Mark so he can concentrate on getting better and take a break from all this shit for a while. Same goes for Jerry Dyer too, Im sure hes doing what he can on all fronts.

regardless these people do have a valid point, we could also be doing some by hand in the meantime. Lets rock man! Good ole fashion hard work pays off. But youre right when it comes to mark, if you want to make comments go ahead, when it does get going hell just refund your dough and send your amp to the next dude in line and trust me there will always be a line.
