Weren't the KOT based on the Marshall Bluesbreaker?

I think it is definitely in the family.. there are so many already, you could probably insert any bluesbreaker type with a Marshall amp and it would sound fantastic.

Love my Standout for when I want that super tight Dimeish kind of tones out of my JMP 2203... Dave. Can you tell me more about this 68 All Seeing Eye pedal?

I see it has two separate channels, is one side an OD and one side a boost or are they the exact same circuit on both sides?

I like your description of aggression... which I felt the VFE Merman was a little too smooth and softish in it's attack. It was still very good, just didn't float my boat.

I read on Analogmans site it is not tubescreamer based but I see 4558D chips in it? Anyway you have sparked my curiosity once again dammit!:bash::2thumbsup:
The KOT is two modified bluesbreaker pedals in one. With each having internal dip switches to adjust clipping.

The All Seeing Eye is an exact clone… but it comes with additional options offered by the KOT (KOT goes up in price with each option). This design allows for pedal stacking which really adds another dimension to the sound. It can be smooth sounding or aggressive with lots of saturation (saturation is was I miss when using an SD-1 or Standout in front of my stock JMP. Either way it’s only $105 plus shipping (express shipping is like $15 more and the pedal arrives in like 4 days). Look at the build quality below. Make sure the seller is 68 pedals 👍 https://www.ebay.com/itm/68pedals-K...-/224405476713?_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l49286

The 68 pedals is in the first picture. Notice it has the high gain switches on each side standard. They obviously can be turned on or off.

I do not know the first thing about making pedals but these are not exact.

I guess you can just put things in different areas on the board. Because it looks like a couple of things are out of place.

Dave got me all hyped up to buy one of these but I don't see an express shipping option at that ebay link. Am I not looking in the right place?

You answered you own comment.

As I said, this clone is made with the higher gain option (little internal switch on either side to turn on/off) that AM charges up for… so not many people get that option, so it hard to find an pic of the KOT showing it.

I’ve owned a handful of KoT pedals over the years, they’re fantastic pedals. I sold them when the wait times got extreme, the used prices spiked, and I couldn’t justify keeping them for the money.

You’re not going to impact Analogman in any way buying a clone of a pedal that has a 3+ year wait time. There’s no amount of clones that will impact their sales.

Send him a message. He will request additional $15.
Hey chubtone, welcome to the revolution you dirty thieving undercutting Chinese pedal buying whore! It's a great pedal, love it. Looks cool too.

I thought the highgain switch is activated by Dip switch 2 for red and 4 for yellow? All dips off means pedal is in clean boost mode . Edit: just saw the switches on your pic. So is it an even higher gain side of distortion then? Mine came with no instructions that I could see.

The auction notes the side switches. The dip switches change clipping for more saturation, etc.

Can't imagine how much more gain a person would need but I suppose if you want it to be a stand alone distortion.

I think that I am going to buy one of these today. Can't score a POT and am not waiting 3 years or paying the insane after market price for KOT.

Just when I thought I was done buying pedals for a while too. Had a CC mini land last week and also pre-ordered the SD-1 anny version.

Edit: That was quick. Have one on the way. Waiting to hear back about expedited shipping as well.

One thing to make sure of when you buy, is to clarify which pedal version you will get. Mine was advertized with the two gain switches on inside but I cracked it open last night and they aren't there. So it wasn't the same model as the picture. That said, I don't think I will need it any more gainy than it is in OD mode because I am a booster not a stand alone distortion on the floor type of guy.

Ask him about it. The guy is really cool.

Looks like my listing was not sold by 68 pedals but a diff name yet all the pictures are the same. He might have a diff name as well on ebay. Either way, I got a good pedal so not the end of the world. Mine also had the internal treb pots up half way so i will probably just leave them that way. I might have gotten a clone of a clone! lol

What is the diff between the norm and high gain switch? Is it just like turning the OD and Dist sides on both sides at once?

This is why I posted a link and specifically mention 68 pedals as the seller. I see lots of people selling the clone, but I only dealt with 68 pedals. They guy is pretty cool.
