It’s a very short list of bands I can’t stand more than Green Day lol

Ouch. Those seem pricey. I will stick with the Pandora modded JCM800 2203X that I have on the amp shelf.
Quite a few (myself included)Is there really a line of people waiting to buy a Dookie mod amp? Really?
Same. If I'm going to pay that I'll just buy one of Jeremy's amps that I have wanted for awhile.Ok, I know I said take my money BUT 3700 USD lol... 5300$ CAD. That I just can't do. 5K+. I will mod my own or hopefully this brings the price down on the regular line and i can find one used and mod it. Amazing that they finally listened to people though!! Nothing beats the look of a Marshall.
Mostly because of Green Day. To my knowledge the first time that mod was heard was on Dookie, so a good album, good guitar tone, and the mainstream appeal all at once. The "Dookie" amp has been used on other non-Green Day records, but those albums don't generally get recognition for the guitar tones. Some of it is also just blind cult-following.Is it because of Greenday, or is there something specific about that mod that appeals to people outside of the band?
These links got taken down. I was only able to see the 800 and then poof gone.Studio 900 DR, modded plexi, and modded 800 up at sweetwater

Yea was wondering if Sweetwater jumped a bit too early as no one else had anything up. Idk if archives are allowed or not just have the SLP, I'll take it down if asked to:These links got taken down. I was only able to see the 800 and then poof gone.
Not only did Marshall listen to their customers, they also got the memo of their competitors to charge $3K+ for the amp. I guess it is what it is…
when does NAMM actually start? I thought tuesday but they were still building booths and stages.. what?
Just about every album that Finn and Cavallo touched in the late 90’s and early 2000’s used one of suhr’s mods in one way it seems. I have a 79’ JMP with the crunch mod and it does everything from GD to blink and sum 41. That circuit through a good quad of G12M 25 watt Greenbacks seems to do most tones from the 60’s to early 2000’s.My appeal for the mod is that Jerry Finn had a '97 anniversary SLP modded in a similar way, and that amp was used on a lot of my favorite 90s-00s recordings.
