Richard Kruspe / Rammstein

AWESOME!!! Thanks... and PLEASE post that COOL rig of yours in your avatar up too.

Zach thanks for posting the pics, it's very cool to see what twists and turns people put in their racks. I only have 3 pieces left in mine, GSP21Legend, dbx1531 dual band, alesis 3630 dual channel : (

I was a rack guy for 80% of my time playing but thanks to advances in technology, I can enjoy the benefits of MIDI powered rigs in the traditional head and pedalboard setup which I prefer. In the end, to each his own but I personally have no need for bulky racks and can accomplish alot of the same things without. Dont get me wrong, I think that theyre cool but they just arent for me anymore as Ive learned to do what I need without them..

HEY dude-- don't fuck with this thread ... P L E A S E..... :(

I wanted this to be something cool, for the guys who ARE into this stuff, and if you're not that's fine... Start your own thread about plugging straight in, and I promise not to come in and rain on your parade.

Do you think I could get you to please remove your purist "plug straight in, statement", from a thread which CLEARLY isn't about that? I get that you probably just meant it in a harmless way, but I don't want those who would perhaps not be so friendly, to follow suit.

Thanks...

PS IF you do have pics of rigs that you think would fit in to the theme here, FEEL free to post those, please.

Believe me, I am no purist... Nor was I preaching. I simply put it up for a quick giggle.

And if you see this as an attempt at raining on your parade... Then, wow! But not to worry... This open warfare shall come to an end at once.

Good morning to you too.

This thread seriously makes me feel inadequate...

I just figured for those into it, it'd be fun... AND as an added bonus-- it kind of is my way of telling the purists and pedals only crowd-- Racks aren't dead, and NEVER were.

Racks definitely aren't dead. My setup is entirely rack based cause I really like the plug in and go philosophy. Plus, I really just don't have any use for pedals.

A shot of mine from a few years ago. The last 3 are from today. :D

Ironically....

Supposedly it's Angus' early 90s rig... but I've always wondered if it actually was or if it's a mistake...

And Guitar rack. :D

Not a huge rack anymore but still a rack none the less. Still looking at 10 spaces and I have a 3 space sitting behind that with a TC2290 and Dunlop SR2? Custom Rack wah.

Holy shit, some of these rigs give me a headache from looking at them!

Lou Reed's Soldano rig always cracks me up

Andy Summers should have stayed with his plexis, his 1986 Meadowlands tone smoked his reunion tour tone.

^^^
Is that a Mesa SUS rack I see? Those are the best racks on the planet, and I'm so stoked to be receiving one Friday.
