Ok, so to follow up my oscillation video, I dialed in some thrash tones and gave it a shot. Im not much of a player and this is basic AF, something I threw together this morning, but yeah plenty of gain without making it go into oscillation.

That seems like a good amount of gain. I wonder if you put a boost out front if that could throw it into oscillation?

I recorded a video and gained it out pretty good and even used an SD-1 into it. I had to gain it out and turn it up to a level I never would in order to hear it.

I stepped out of the room as I am only a bystander but did you Mark-Talk folks come to any conclusions after 700+ posts and 21,000 views?

Seems a little back and forth still. Some are saying it is not close AND some are saying it is better

It's definitely close. People saying it's not close are people with investments to protect.

Seems to be closer than the JP is, for sure. Even if it has 'some' of that C+ 'bounce' in the feel, that's encouraging....and, if it's like my new Naylor SD60 was, after 6 months the feel became much better after that break in period and matched exactly the OG 1995 version I had.
Hopefully that may be the case with these.

When I first got my brand new Larry Dino, it blew my mind, but it didn’t ‘breathe’ quite like I thought it should. It was somewhat stiff, maybe slightly choked.
(Same thing with every new Wizard I bought in the past).

4 months later, after break in, it became an incredible monster of fire breathing insanity!

New Amps really do break in, no doubt about it. ?

I’m not sure but your choice of emoji inspired me to throw out a little PSA for the constipation sufferers out there that the 6 output tube Coliseum power sections are great for voiding your bowels

he stopped the video too fast.... does the reissue do the famous "c+ chirp" when you shut it off too fast? those who know, know. my friend sampled and looped it once in a electronic music song he made, i wish i still had a copy cuz he made it sound really cool

My Mark III did that as well as my current IV occasionally, I think it's something all of the Mark's do, is it not?
