Don't all old amps vary a bit from amp to amp? That's what i've found. Component tolerances/drift...Sounds great!
Mesa could’ve reached a large portion of the MKIIC+ market by sending Ola one to begin with.
Interesting, he says that the reissue actually has a little more gain then his original. I guess, like everyone says, the originals varied a bit.
As far as I know it is possible to tinker out that oscillation. I think out tech savvy guys might have a solution already. My amp squeals!! Meanwhile Ola has Input and Treble on 10…lol
I guess he got a good one

Yeah, no chance I'd dial that RI in the way some did to 'prove' the squeal. I always dialed any of the C+ I had, same as Ola...Vol 1 pulled, dimed...Treb pulled, dimed...then, gain was anywhere between 3-6 and if I needed more, hit the boost pedal. My amp squeals!! Non-graphic. They can keep it.
Thanks for sharing guys! Found my account!
Welcome back. Missed an opportunity on that video though, to put on some nice tan slacks and a sensible jumper and play some Christopher Cross. It’s been 11 years since my last post

Cheers man, I have a video coming this week directly comparing the OG and the reissue but I see now people want to hear a comparison with the JP2C and the Mark VII as well so I guess I’ll make another one at some pointThank you for giving everyone a demo of what they actually want to hear, @Ola Englund
IMO the reissue sounds great, really close to an OG
