Mesa treated Fluff super unfairly imo

Who says they treated Fluff unfairly?

I mean, there was a press release. It said “Randall is no longer with the company”.

People can infer what they like. It wasn’t his business to say Randall was fired. In the real world people know what that means. He had a relationship with Mesa AND Randall I assume, and that’s a sticky spot. Putting something in writing is going to have fallout. I’m sure he had to know that was a possibility.

Even though I’m not at all a fan of Ryan’s tones and all that, I’d never mistake him for stupid. He’s not a dumb guy. Perhaps just an oversight in judgement?

It also didn’t say in the vid he’s blackballed from ever working with them again. They’re giving him a public slap on the wrist.
He said in the video that the Gibson rep said he would never work with them again.

I remember those Tube Fex's, my neighbors dad that used to play in Confederate Railroad back in the day had one. He was a big time Peavey guy.

If you want to work with the big boys you gotta play by their rules. Sometimes you just have to keep your mouth shut.

This is why you need guys like Fluff & others that cut thru the corporate BS w/ their honest opine.
Just like the Gibson IIC+ video this rectifier sounds like shit to me.
Has the 90's generation died off so much that hipsters think this is the best Mesa ???

It’s more that I’m a really boring person without a social life, and I replace that hole in my life with getting lowballed on Facebook for amps I sell

(And the best amps are the ones I don’t sell lmao)
You wouldn't believe the nonsense I deal with for the E2 I have posted for sale at already a great price on Facebook lol. I feel your pain.

I know some of you aren’t exactly fans of fluff, but it’s super shitty of Mesa to do this when he’s spent so much time chronicling and promoting the recto series

Timestamp is at 2:51

Honestly this is just par for the course.

There is too much media precense in general now and it'd be nice to just go on back 10-15 years socially media wise.

This is all so commercialized... He must not have actually liked boogie if that's all it took for him to never play one again... looking at pics of his old mesas? Like he got rid of them because he wanted to be a super influencer and they didn't like it? It's like someone releasing a rough recording of something before you are ready. "I disappear" by Metallica comes to mind.

He really shouldn't have said anything.
But even still, seems pretty damn shallow.

Lolol.....

D’oh. I stand corrected. Seems lots of folks have commented on the DR launch vid about wanting to see Fluff demo them. I wonder if Gibson will rethink their position.

Fluff may love Recto’s but I still don’t find him a player who gets sounds I like all that much and I certainly don’t get anything out of his style of playing. Not knocking him personally, just his vids don’t do anything for me. So him getting to demo Boogie/Gibson, or not, is a moot point for me.
