Dear Rig Talk,

When I brought up the heater wiring, it was not my intention to "shit on" Mark Cameron, the CCV or any other entity involved. I was simply pointing out that the heater wiring's lead dress was a bit... off. And I even said (in that very first post) that if the amp was using DC heaters, that it was not an issue. It has since been confirmed that the amp does, indeed, run DC heaters. So how those wires are twisted does not matter.

The people harping on the fact that I brought it up to begin with are doing so by insinuating that it was my intention (which is was not) to cause drama in this thread. False. I have nothing but respect for Cameron, Brad, Friedman, et al. And they most certainly know more about building an amp than I.

Those of you making snide and sarcastic comments when people question the quality of products being sold to them, need to understand they are causing more harm than good.

Bottom line: CCV has DC heaters. Lead dress on the heaters is a non-issue. Carry on.

XOXO with sugar and syrup and a little reach around on top.

The pic I posted wasn't aimed at you but the the overall general direction Cameron threads tend to turn into. No offense meant on my end just poking fun in general. I actually thought you did the right thing in bringing it up.

Dude! You didn't do anything wrong... Everything you said was correct and I wouldn't be concerned about other's perceptions of your motives, which were clearly to be helpful...

It's a Cameron thread. Kind of like an AxeFX or Dumble thread on TGP.

You know, the fact that this thread has had 1,400 views in just over a day must put a huge grin on both Brad's and Rob's faces. Don't tell me there's no interest in the CCV!

:rawk:

you misspelled drama...it doesn't have a C or a V in it. :D This forum is hilarious on a consistent basis.

Are there any pictures of molex connectors or ribbon cables that I can bitch about? ;)
