My God...what happened to Queensryche???

What happened? They stopped putting out albums after Empire, and some really shitty band with a bald guy calling himself Geoff Tate are imposters.
 
I found Empire to be one of the best, period. When we had a studio (commercial recording studio) back in the day, we used Empire as a reference for our behind desk monitors. It was SO crisp. Brilliantly mixed and produced.

FWIW, we also used - get this - ABBA cds. Yes, ABBA. Hard to believe, but they had some righteous production to use as a reference, even though their original recordings were years before the actual "compact disk" came out.

BUT!! Not a hijack, Empire reigns as a killer album.

Not to add to the hijack... but I digs me some ABBA to this day. I pull-out the Greatest Hits CD and put it on every once in a while. Good songs and production. Dig the vocal harmonies.

And OHHH the things I would have done to the blonde (Agnetha) in the day...
 
spare us all the pain, put QR out of their misery, and continue to go ABBA hijack
