Never seen George Lynch

Yeah he’s playing at a “country bumpkin” shed just outside Weedsport, NY where I’m dragging the wife! Haha

I keep ear plugs in the truck just for concerts, I’ve seen some loud ones and I know George likes it loud.

Just a little too far or I’d go check this out. Central and western NY have gotten screwed on shows since 2020 …

The best thing that he has done in the last 10 years, is the "Casandra's Crossing" project, with Casandra Carson.

She is the lead singer of Paralandra.......who ironically is on tour with him as his opening act.

Sounds great but I really miss his well written solos that matched a song. That solo was just a diminished noodlefest.

I’m glad you stated this!
You are unfortunately absolutely correct!

Its gotten to be a fucking country music Mecca and I can’t understand it!!!

Rock shows anymore I have to travel to Lakeview Amp in Syracuse. Will see Metallica/Pantera/Suicidal April 19th at Lakeview.

Not sure where you are located or if you are familiar with CMAC in Canadaigua, but we get season tix. They used to have rock shows. Now they are more country oriented and it hurts my heart and ears.
Well we did get John Fogerty last year, ugh…

I’m seeing him tonight in CLE. Saw him in a small venue back in 2016 and he was awesome.
Saw my first Blackberry Smoke show in Cleveland back in ‘16.

I passed on his show in Columbus last Thursday. I love Lynch and Dokken but when I see this thrown together act on Youtube videos I think it's poorly rehearsed and pretty lame. George is playing a ton of gigs with about anybody lately and I'm trying to figure out if it's a swan song for him or cash grab.

In retrospect I wish I had gone but most of the 80's acts I've seen besides Winger are pretty washed up.

IDK.

I saw Dokken a few times back in the day; and on a reunion tour in the mid nineties in Baltimore.

Stryper is still killing it IMO. Just released another new album, and it sounds amazing...so do most of the live vids, Michael Sweet had vocal / throat surgery in 2024, and is back as good as ever.

You’re killing me!

I never got into Dokken or Lynch Mob.

I was like Mustaine/Metallica in the 80’s calling these bands poseurs. I only went to Cinderella/Winger/Bullet Boys because of a chick.

@NowYou'rePlayingWithPower can have all the Winger!

This is me just wanting to see George tear some ass!

Basically just east of Rochester. CMAC is about 40 minutes away and I’ve been to a few shows there over the years. It seems like they generally get the lighter end of the spectrum … I’ve seen TTB a couple times, Jason Isbell.

Honestly I’m interested in the lower tier club and theater show as opposed to stadium, arena and amphitheater for the most part. For my tastes, it’s generally a better experience (and more affordable Lol).

Nowadays if a band bothers to stop in this part of the state, they choose Buffalo and occasionally Syracuse. Rochester will get the odd thing here or there, but there aren’t as many venues available as there once was. Even Water Street Music Hall is is a part-time venue.

I’m between Geneva and Canadaigua.
Was at shitty Rochester GC last night.

I haven’t been to Water Street in years.
I think I saw Buddy Guy there last?

I don’t think I can get thru yet another TTB show anymore.

I was at the show years ago at Genny Brewery where Tedeschi and Trucks were still separate bands.

I get your opinion on the larger amps, I agree.
CMAC is as large as I’d like to go.

Summers of expensive tix $19 IPA drafts will be here before you know it!

Remember all the free shows in Rochester and Buffalo?
Saw some great bands…

Worse, I was born in Detroit.

Though I’m still alive to talk about it
Flint born and raised. Love that place. Love Detroit too!

I've transplanted to the woods, and I don't venture to the city anymore...but spent a long time in the flint music scene....

At least it's good to see a Michigander!🤘

Watch out.
Here in NY we see tv ads on the water in Flint ☠️

old news.....and only a small number of years.

Thankfully I wasn't there for that. Stupid officials. Pretty typical for Genessee Co. Actually.🤣

Shit, just living and breathing in that region is a health hazard. 😂 GM manufacturing and all ....sure you understand with ford and all @Corey James

Surprised people still fish the Flint river. 🤣

Yes, I’m landlocked in now with 10 acres about 60 minutes from the Detroit airport.

My sons both put meat in the freezer this year off of the land that we live on.

We can still shoot whenever we want and we have a dirtbike track and trail system.

Despite the three wicked witches of Michigan, it’s still America where we live🤙🏾

Yessir--I heard some of that and thought he sounded great !! It's amazing with all the screaming he did over a long career that he can even talk!
