Never seen George Lynch

I might go to the Cleveland show tonight. Still talking myself into it. Have caught Lynch live about 15 times over the years. Dokken, Lynch Mob, and a side project or two. He can be really loose and great, or really loose and just really loose on occasion. Either way, he is never boring.
Yeah, I hear you, I really didn’t want to make the drive to go see the concert Friday, but I am glad I went.

There were about four songs that I just checked out on, because like you I have seen Lynch mob at least a dozen times. I’ve seen dokken probably four times, (including the recent version with Don sounding like Joe Biden on vocals)

This version of the band is playing really well & the new singer only gets to sing one of his songs, but he is doing a great job in the band.

I was lucky enough to see Robert Mason on vocals in 91 or 92. Killer

I have seen him several times and he can be very hit and miss live. Sometimes he is totally on fire and other times he can seem pretty out of sorts and not so great. Hope you catch him on a good night.

Glad I went last night.

George was out there, but in a cool way- def not playing the same old same old. Loves his phase 90 for sure.

Band sounded great.

Biggest surprise was the opening band Paralandra. Damn that girl can SING!

Yeah, she’s a bad ass isn’t she?

I got my Cassandra‘s crossing CD this morning from Amazon ??

I agree with all of the above. George was playing great and very chill. Shorter set than I would have preferred, but I get it. Both singers were very good.

So George tore it up last night! Old Marshall cabs, and two Marshall heads, but they were behind the cabs, so didn’t really get a good look. Small place and not many people there, so I could have walked up and looked but I didn’t. I didn’t hear any Dokken songs, so I feel lucky. But I also didn’t stay for the entire Lynch Mob set.

Sound was terrible.
I’m not familiar enough to name songs, but he ripped.

That opening band with the chick singer stole the show for me. She can really belt it out. The band put on a great show and the songs were good. Couldn’t hear the guitar player that well. He was rocking a JJ jr lunchbox 20 watter and goldtop lp.
Loved the bass player, haha. He was a sexy type guy, sparkly shirt and hair I wish I could grow. He had a fan in front of him and he’d get in front of it and his hair would blow. Kind of looked like Kip Winger, Lisa @NowYou'rePlayingWithPower would have dug him, haha. The chicks probably dug it, wasn’t much to his bass playing. I’ll definitely check out more of their music.

First opener was a band called Motley Cruton. I was hoping they wouldn’t play any Motley, but they did. Plus other Sunset Strip songs. They were actually fantastic. Did the songs justice. Guitar player nailed it all with a Katana and one of those crackle finish Charvels. But shit, I can’t take hearing Paradise City and Sweet Child o Mine. But I get it, popular songs and all.

Was hoping to see some hot, high haired 80’s chicks, but that really didn’t happen.

I saw him plenty last night. Small place and not many people there. Easy to grab a beer.

I should have walked up to see if I could get a good look at his Marshalls. They were behind the cabs 90 degrees off. He could walk over and twist a knob easy. He did rip.

Just grabbed tix for Lynch Mob’s Last Ride tour. I’ve never seen George and I’m not a Dokken fan at all.
But, I dig George and his playing so figure a sort of bucket list show. Add to list of greats I’ve seen live. For $25/ea figure it’s a no-brainer…

What can I expect?
Hoping for some cool amps on stage!
You can expect him to be old and fat and all songs will be played at least a half step down. 😂

Glad to hear it all went like you wished!🤘🏻

I failed to mention for @DanTravis62 that George was using a clip on tuner all night. :ROFLMAO:

I should have walked up front and checked out what he was using. Show was lowly populated, could have made it up to check out, but was content just hanging back with the wife and enjoying the show.

Hair metal band, checks out 🤣
Never got into the hair metal as a youth, I was more in line with the attitude of Cliff em All. Poseurs!
Of course then you get Cowboys From Hell album and the three albums that followed and nothing could beat those guys!

But as I’ve aged, there are some guitar players I’d like to see.
