Never seen George Lynch

I’m between Geneva and Canadaigua.
Was at shitty Rochester GC last night.

I haven’t been to Water Street in years.
I think I saw Buddy Guy there last?

I don’t think I can get thru yet another TTB show anymore.

I was at the show years ago at Genny Brewery where Tedeschi and Trucks were still separate bands.

I get your opinion on the larger amps, I agree.
CMAC is as large as I’d like to go.

Summers of expensive tix $19 IPA drafts will be here before you know it!

Remember all the free shows in Rochester and Buffalo?
Saw some great bands…

Phelps or Clifton Springs! Lol. I’m familiar

Yeah, I used to be better off than I am these days. If we’re gonna blow $200-300 on tix and concessions, we have to be selective. In addition to the deteriorating music venue scene, the job market is correspondingly shitty.

I saw many free show in Rochester over the years although plenty of them were worth what they were charging. The ones that stood out as really good are Robert Cray, Living Color and Gov’t Mule way back when they were a hard hitting power trio with Allen Woody on bass. No keyboards and no weak jam band crap.

Man, I got to see the Woody era Govt Mule at a blues, brews and bbq show at the State Fair around spring of 98 or 99. Saw a number of Woody shows, with Govt Mule and the Allmans as well.
Allmans being a favorite of mine.

I came down here circa 1988. My father’s used car dealership/repair and inspection on Route 96 Clifton Springs. Graduated from Midlakes.

Our house isn’t Phelps or Clifton, we are on 5&20 outside Geneva to the West. I work in Clifton Springs…

Seen him around 6 months ago and about 20 ft in front of him. Great tone and form. His chops are still top notch. The singer was impressive as well. I seen Dokken about 2 1/2 years ago and George came out for the last 4-5 songs and ripped it up. Don Dokken sounded like Johnny Cash with pneumonia...fucking horrible.

I might go to the Cleveland show tonight. Still talking myself into it. Have caught Lynch live about 15 times over the years. Dokken, Lynch Mob, and a side project or two. He can be really loose and great, or really loose and just really loose on occasion. Either way, he is never boring.

Saw him last year Lynch Mod opening for Dokken. He came out and jammed a few tunes with Dokken. He was great but John Levin playing guitar with Dokken stole the show.

I’d go see Dokken in a small shed to goof on them.

I saw Quiet Riot years ago at the Penny Arcade. I could reach Carlos’ mic stand and was constantly taking his picks and tossing them to folks behind me.

I swear he was going to kick my ass!

My band opened for Quiet Riot in a little shit club in the 90s. How the mighty have fallen

You guys didn’t happen to be the roadies, and then jump behind the bar to change into your puffy pirate shits like on the Seinfeld episode?

I can’t remember the name of the opener, but that’s how it went down. 1993?

Back in the 80's, all the "big kids" that played guitar, used to say the only reason he sounded good was because he could afford crazy fx.
Ha!
Guess that shows how little I cared about the lame hair bands.
