Downloaded an early copy yesterday. Wow!! 60 year old guys doing this for 40 years are not supposed to be this great and relevant! This just doesn't happen with any other band!

Looking forward to getting the actual CD in all its sonic glory next Tuesday when it officially releases.

Been a huge fan forever. Haven't missed a concert since '82.

I own everything they've ever done(love 90% of it all). Make sure you actually buy the record!!

Thanks man! I'm noobing it up over here, I didn't even know the ne album was coming out already :scared:

How did you download a copy if it hasn't been released yet?

I haven't liked a Rush album since Counterparts but I'm willing to give this a chance.

You downloaded RUSH property without prior consent?

All I want to know is where is the FLAC version posted?

^ Yeah haven't seen the FLAC yet. Just crappyish 192mp3

The last Rush album I purchased was Moving Pictures, as was the last Rush tour I ever attended. Neal got the bright idea of turning the band into The Police - and that as they say was that. I did purchase Subdivisions - but it ended-up getting used as a coke mirror.

Almost a sig-worthy quote, but the album was called Signals.

I love Rush blindly. They could rap a turd in tin foil and I'd buy it. They can do no wrong.

I think Moving Pictures was my last album as well.
They were so good.

Plenty of rap and turds on the Roll the Bones album.

Funny, I see a lot of people criticizing RtB and that's THE album that got me into Rush for a short period of time in my formative years, even though that rush   didn't last long.

And to be honest only in the last year or so (with the "help" of our sound guy and bass player ;)) I've learned more of the awesomeness called Rush.

Speaking of the new album, a mate of mine did the same thing, dld the album already and gave me some sort of review and I'm afraid he didn't like it as much as the op  . I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and just buy the album and decide for myself.

Caravan kicks butt! I saw them play that song in concert last year...Ive already got tickets for them this year..people can knock em all they want, the proof is in the authenticity of thier live shows, thier album sales, and their massive cult-like fan base...my advice would be- theyre here to stay-you'd might as well get to liking em..They'd also make for a good lesson to the younger 4, 5 and 6 member rock bands of today that despite thier multi tracking and 3 guitar players per band,in most cases they still cant seem to get the vibe and sound as big and full as Rush does today!
