sadYeah, they feed in "hit " songs, and an algorithm spits-out regurgitated chord progressions based on that input.
Then, they pick and choose parts out of that, and assemble it into a song.

I love me some tall women!!!She is way too tall for me and probably has big feet and toes too but my wife supports my love affair with Tswift.
I'm only 5'6" so I wouldn't even need to get on my knees to get a Tsniff.I love me some tall women!!!
At least she knows how to play a guitar.
She's got legs for days. I think she'sI love me some tall women!!!

Kinda wrong on all accounts. She does write all her own music, and even contributes heavily when she collaborates. She is one of the only reason the guitar business is still going, as nobody was buying guitars for a stretch there outside of Taylor fangirls.Taylor Swift most likey has never written shit. Dont even know why im commenting on this thread. These are the people that have ruined the music industry

As for the music ruining the industry, it was the generic rock music of the 2000s that did that. It's really fucked up to think that rock music almost killed the guitar and Taylor Swift had to come along and save it.
Taylor Swift has written some really catchy music. Some of her country stuff was really good, then 1989 and Red had some legitimately great songs. And she might as well have written the book on how to successfully transition from one genre to another.
However...
This new album is complete trash. I'm listening to it now and... Jesus. She's trying to copy the Billie Eilish thing and it really shows. She spends the whole album kinda half-singing "depressing" (but still safe and broadly appealing) lyrics against a minimalist backing track, by which I mean almost every song has all of a single slow moving synth line and if you're lucky, a single kick drum and snare that only hit once every other quarter note for almost the whole album.
It's just boring. There's nothing to it. The strongest feeling I got from it was when I got embarrassed for Taylor at the swearing because it felt so forced and contrived.
@RaceU4her is right. Album sucks.
Its cause it all sucksthis has been a trend ive been noticing with a lot of the big names lately.. Kanye, Drake, kendrick lamar, now taylor.. i listen to their albums looking for the danceable upbeat jams and instead its sounds like a therapy session over some sort of soundscape cd. im not exactly sure who is telling them this is a good idea but i really hope it stops soon.
