I'm not saying anything about your prowess, just your decisions.
The whole point is the US needs to pull its head in and shut its big mouth when it comes to places that have done nothing to it.

Just because the American people voted for Trump over a deep state, socialist regime, doesn't mean we want to hurt our allies. We can vote for Trump, and not agree with all his policies. I personally think he should leave Australia alone, but he is taking our country in a far better direction than the previous administration. We were going to end up like the UK, where parents were getting investigated by the DOJ for speaking out at school board meetings. He is by far the lesser evil in the majority of America's opinion. Love him or hate him.

What you just said there is effectively what I think. Positive changes in terms of domestic policy getting rid of wokeness etc. Trimming wasteful and illegitimate mad foreign aid programs (like condoms to Afghanistan etc) and redundant government departments and expenditure - for sure that absolutely has to be done. Addressing your budget deficit - very important. Getting European countries and even Australia to spend a more appropriate amount on defence - I think that's a good thing.

However the part of foreign policy I'm annoyed about is tariffs on allies where it's not reciprocal. We don't charge tariffs and yet are copping tariffs now on steel and aluminium and are getting constant threats of more tariffs despite the US having a trade surplus with us. It gives me the absolute shits. We should kick America out of Pine gap, cancel the massive nuclear submarine order we put in and give the contract back to the French and stuff the US worldwide intelligence gathering capability as a punishment and kick the American ambassador out. No one respects weakness. Hit back hard.

That was kind of nasty, lol! "inflict as much pain on American citizens as possible". Really!?! I don't think any Americans wish harm on Canadians. Even Trudeau, lol. A lot of us sent money to the truckers and farmers cause! Such a shame. If we had actual free trade with no tariffs, and maybe a joint visa, we could have an economic powerhouse. Instead politics are going to leave no real winners. Canadian leadership knows Trump ran on border security as a mandate. Seems it would be easier to just add troops to a border, rather than sever military and economic ties. Canadian leadership could have struck some kind of deal with Trump, everyone knows he's all about the deal. TDS?

Is this really how most Canadians feel?
I'm Canadian. The prevailing towards Americans my entire life has been "they're arrogant fat fuckin annoying retards," but with a measure of tongue-in-cheek good humor about it.

In the last two months, pretty much everyone I know is saying "fuck that country and everyone in it," with no wink or smile. Pure hatred. They hate Trump and his supporters, and they hate the Democrats for being pathetic sacks of shit who allowed it to happen, and they want to see the complete collapse of the United States.

I'm ambivalent, I won't begrudge a country for acting in their own interests, I wish mine would.

I'm conservative

I don't know anyone who hates Canadians. Excepting their rulers of course.

It is an American motorcycle - so it needs to be sent back!!! That's even worse than the Harley DEI scandal these days!!! :p What's worse than DEI... buying from our newly minted enemies from America. Down with the USSA (not a typo - Dosvedanya komrade). In mother USA you don't buy Harley, Harley buys you.
Visit a HD dealership and it's just a bunch of sad people sitting behind desks with nothing to do. I hope SOMETHING happens to turn it around, like kicking the CEO to the curb and declaring "sorry, it was all a mistake".

We don't want Canada or Greenland.
It's just to deflect the dem media away from the real shit we need to do and take care of

And they are falling for it, hook line and sinker

You are always a nice bloke mate.

Riding - well it's been absolutely wet for about a month and the time I did ride I ran over either a pot hole or half a brick or something and cracked the back rim. $2800 to get a new rim from Germany and disc and abs sensor. I went through insurance and they still haven't approved the claim and it's been 10 days... Then the parts can't be ordered (over two weeks from Germany) by the dealer until the claim is approved even if I offer to pay in advance. So frustrating.

At least I stil have the Harley to ride.

You ride a HD? A woke American motorcycle. :D

"Done nothing to it" - other than unfair trade, failing to protect their side of our shared border,...

I like our odds. Canada can sink with the EU, or let China take over, like they'll be doing in Greenland too.

Let's see if the western EU idiots decide to start a war with Russia; hopefully we're smart enough to stay home this time, and sell weapons to both sides. :D

UK is under ninja attack; any ninjas in AUS?

edit: just found this:

Man my road is so full of potholes I wouldn't venture down it with a bike unless I had mapped them all out. Glad you didn't get hurt bro.
