I had a original Marshall Jubilee ( in black not silver ) ....... I thought it sounded like total ass ... even after going through it .... and a full re-tube .

just total ass !

I had one of the JCM900's too forget which one .... same deal .... hated it .

and a Mesa F100 ..... blah

Revv Generator mk3: Just not an inspiring amp, feel wise of tone wise
Mezzabarba Trinity: Wanted to like this one. Sounded really good, hated the way it felt to play. Supposed to be Soldano like, but my old SLO felt way better to play!
Mesa Mk5 90w: Make or break was the 3rd channel, or "Mark" channel. Way too compressed and lacked the aggression and punch of older Marks.
Rivera K-Tre: This was just a flabby mess.

Randall RD 100. Very flat and boring. That amp NEEDED an eq in the loop to be usable. Luckily I could return it within 30 days.

EVH 5153-any version. I’ve had the original and both stealth versions, and I want to like them but they just don’t do it for me. Back they went.

What was the serial number of the Zinky?

Armored amps Sabot-one of the worst I've owned of about 60--tone, feel, loop was all horrible, amp just sounded bad. Bought it new from the builder; Sent it back sure something was wrong, but the builder returned it with a clean bill.

Diezel DMoll--lasted a week-Sluggish round attack on the lows, no upper mid bite. Tried numerous boosts, guitar/pup combos, speakers/cabs, eqs in the loop---

I like Diezels generally...Didn't like the D-Moll either.

Bradshaw OD 100. total ear fatigue.
Wizard Metal X. same. ear bleeder.
Bogner Duende and Metropolis. Goldfinger does that thing much better IMO
Mesa Triaxis / 290. mush city. my VHT and Mark IV blew it out of the room
Carvin Legacy. bland and dull
Matchless Laurel Canyon. meh. way overrated
Rivera KTRE. meh.. dull and lifeless unlike the M Series and TBR which kick ass
Marshall JVM 410. sterile and brittle. the JCM 2000 blows it away
Marshall 2555x. pretty decent but again, JCM 2000 DSL is better, not to mention my 2204s

Bray 50 Watt Deluxe. Never EVER heard a Bray clip online that didn’t make me reach for my wallet. Had a Bray 50 Deluxe in the stable for less than a week of constant tweaking, tube rolling and cabinet swapping and couldn’t get it listed and shipped fast enough. Still reach for my back pocket any time I hear a Bray clip online. Total head scratcher to me.

Not necessarily selling bur returned. Mini Rectifier 25. Got one when they first came out. Lasted 3 or 4 days in my house. Dimed through a 4x12 it barley cut through my drummer. Feedback and noise were uncontrollable no matter what I tried. I love Mesa's and I still have 3 Mark series amps. Guess I'm not a rectifier guy?

Panama Inferno 100 - should have returned it during the return period, but hung onto it, because I wanted to make it work (I liked that it had 4 independent channels), but I eventually gave up, and only got 1/5th of what I paid for it new. That's the last time I bought into a YT-hyped amp.

I currently have a Supro Black Magick 25w head sitting in the box ready to be returned. I'm not sure if I'll miss it or not.

Engl Fireball 60, total pos.
Randal RD45H
5150 III 6L6 100
EVH 100 6L6 is one of my favorites!!!

Shows how tone is soooo subjective. I love that amp, sold my original one just to get another later. Thought my BE100 would cover it's tones, alas, they both do there own thing really well.

Different strokes for different folks!!!!

I got one of these in a trade once... It got re-traded in less than a week. The red gain channel is a mess. And I actually really like the mark I and II triamps, duotone, puretone, and a couple of their other amps.

Yeah I've played a 100p and generator 120 and I absolutely hated them, so I've never bought one lol

Sterile, modern, and lacking any discernable character whatsoever

Engl does have some cool amps, I like the artist se quite a bit, but the ones I've owned have been truly awful tonewise - and taking a look inside them, they look like a repair nightmare
The Revv is exactly what you describe it, modern, sterile in a good way. It is a modern amp and does it extremely well!!!! It ain't a classic, raw amp, it is modern and tight and a fast responding amp, love it!!!!

only one I can think of is a Blackstar HT5 .. I thought it was awesome at the time but in hindsight it sucked balls ... I totally regret selling every single one of the other amps I have sold ... but I don't let it haunt me hahahaha
