Interesting when you compare Pittbulls and other dogs to wild animals like a Hyena. A Hyena has about 5 times the bite force of a Rot or Pittbull. I guess they need it to crush bones.

VERY cool. I saw a program just recently where they tested all kinds of animals. Its amazing the force some of the wild ones can generate.INSANE. Like you say Hyenas digest bone so they have to be able to crush it.......John

Interesting when you compare Pittbulls and other dogs to wild animals like a Hyena. A Hyena has about 5 times the bite force of a Rot or Pittbull. I guess they need it to crush bones.

Yeah they can actually eat a croc, and do so through the thick hide on their back! They supposedly have the strongest bite of any animal.

Have you ever seen the footage floating around the internet of the Hippo snapping a Croc in half for getting to close to its baby? I understand that Hippos kill more people in Africa then all of the other wild animals combined. It seems our fat friends from the river have nasty attitudes

No haven't seen that one, but I did see the one of hyenas eating a croc. It was crazy. I think part of the fact that hippos kill so many people is from the African kids swimming in water when the hippos can't be seen. You know how they kinda submerge with only their eyes poking out? I'm not 100% on this, but IIRC I read it or heard it on some show at one point. Anything that big is pretty nasty though.
