The "new house" is a million billion times nicer than our current house with a full finished kickass basement that has a nice big room for my music crap. HELL YEAH! This is also 15-18 miles from my new job (I'm driving 60 miles each way now.)

The only issue is that we now have 60 days to sell our current house. Rumor has it that people are talking to their banks now to make an offer, but we'll see.

Wish me luck...

Chris

Very cool, good luck Chris

Nice! Good luck on the sale of the old house too.

Not enough gain. Add a few more 12ax7's and get back to us. ;)

^ very nice! good luck with the offer...

very few houses this side of the pond have basements, which is a shame as they're almost made for music stuff...

Congrats buddy!

I've been going through the same thing myself, just closed on our new house yesterday.

We're expecting a buyer to complete her financing today and sign papers on an offer for our current/"old" house so we are very relieved. Hopefully things go smoothly and we don't have to do much more to get our current house in shape for the new owner to take over (I've been doing little stuff around the house for almost two months now getting it in tip top shape but I'm a lazy guitar player and that shit is not really enjoyable for me).

that's great, Thump. That house looks like it has a lot of room for kids, loud guitars, etc :irresistible:

 and all windows need to be covered with 4x12 half stacks or full stacks when nessacary :D

Congrats Chris. It looks beautiful.

I love having a house. Last night was our first practice here. It was fantastic. We have the amps miced going into my ISO box. The bass player went direct. And the drums were miced up. I have to take some pictures of the basement. The best thing is that we were able to record a couple of our songs with the press of a button. Instant "demo." I'm going to post clips and pictures later today.
